Post leap, every episode starts with a recap and every day, Sdahna's photo is shown ...it basically starts remembering Sadhna, the soul of Bidaai and a shraddhanjali to her...

thought of making the topic yesterday, if anyone has observed it or not...it never used to be like this before.

Really Bani, it just keeps Bidaai alive for me.
Without the foursome Bidaai feels like some other serial .
I feel Alekh is being washed over without Sadhana.
Just miss her.

About observation ... yes, its obvious and I have not observed this just recently, but infact from the very first day I started seeing Bidaai.

Its her ... her soul ... her khushboo ... her essence and her blessing that is the turbine which keeps this show moving.

Khushi carries her fragrance ... and the house is moving forward - trying to remain honest with Sadhna's duties and unfinished tasks ... her love is the only asset for the grey picture of Bidaai which so heartlessly have found itself without her ...

To observe we can immediately and it doesnt need one to posses the philosophers stone for it ... not being able to observe would be a screaming proof of aimless ignorance.

I think Sadhna's death has left some marks on everyone...Alekh reverted back to abnormalcy, Vasu to her "strict mode", Indrajeet to "yeh main kya soon raha hoon"😆...

Khushi is carrying on a reflection of Sadhna, she is Sadhna in the making...Sadhna's death left Ragini with the most maturity, which was lagging for a long time. Sadhna's death gave Ragini that depth which was very much needed in her character and hence the show starts with Ragini's shraddhanjali to Sdahna...

But the impact of impact is on the character Anmol, who never had met Sadhna most probably, but is carrying on his duty to keep Ragini happy, care for Alekh and look after the family...

It was like this when the serial started. I remember, they used to mention about Sadi's father and his work @ California and then how he wishes to see his daughter's bidai etc. For many serials, it was like this. Then they stopped.

I dont understand one thing here. Sadhna came into everyone's life and changed it with her self-less love. But after her death, everyone went back to their original state. Be it Alekh, Vasu, or Indu. Ragini also seems to have the same old problems of low self-confidence (not very sure as I havent seen many episodes after the leap, but by reading updates, I felt so). I am still not able to figure out what message we have got by Sadi's death then?

@Red,you have stolen my thoughts here.
Why everything is going back.Is this the fate of every serial?
Is it hard to use the imprints from the old and carry on the story from there?Is it hard to create a surreal story, scenario?

Ragini though much stronger is still so weak ,but I am happy she is getting a forceful chance of growing stronger.

Vasu, is going back to old self, that I think is most natural compared to her sudden transformation to a good, thoughtful lady.She is true to herself now then just before leap, when Sadhana was there.So I have no complaints with her.Atleast she still remembers Sadhana as a DIL who was like her daughter.

Alekh OMG.....I can't say this enough times...why are they doing this to Angad.Is he going to be the lead anymore?Is he waiting for Khushi to grow up to transform him again???What is the use???😡
I hope Cts have some strong tracks for him......
OR else Angad will go back with what he came....😭😭

I somehow dont agree with these serials going back to square one. Many serials depict the same stuff. One lead hero/heroine tries to bring a change and they will be successful. But when they complete this mission, they go missing/die. Then everything back to square one and looks as if it is "Mission Impossible" 😆 So the person who died has come for a temporary change is it?

Ok, they wanted to show Sadi's death. Even if I try to compromise with this aspect (though it is very difficult to accept as sadi had all the rights to lead a happy and contentful life which she hasnt got through out her life), I dont understand why everyone going back to the original mode then. They could have shown a stronger Ragini and a stronger Alekh bringing up children. I dont know what happened to Ranvir here. So, cant say anything about Ranvir/Anmol for the time being. But, to me, it would have been much better if they show a stronger Ragini and Alekh who take care of kids, house and business and taking care of each other as well like brother-sister or jija-sali whatever. There need not be husband-wife relation between any man and a woman. That is not true in real life.

If Sadi has changed their life then, they should have shown a changed Ragini and a changed Alekh. Instead of that, Alekh is in jail again and Ragini is shown still dependent. Then how effective is the change which Sadi has caused? Or may be if they show like this, then there is nothing much in the track because things would be moving smoothly.

Ofcourse, we are not the script writers. Also, it is not easy to write scripts for any movie/serial. Our job is very easy. Just to comment. But, I just dont agree with the current track. Hopefully, with time, I will be proved wrong.

However, dont understand why Angad has agreed to do this role again? Only for a short duration he was shown normal. Again if he goes back to this original Alekh role, then he may be typecasted throughout his career.

Somehow, I feel this leap is forceful addition to the serial and not planned before. I found an article from IF which has Parul's interview. It can be seen below this topic as the word "leap" appears in this post and in that article. I dont think I am allowed to pull out old article and post it again here. But, this is what Parul has told in that interview.

Q. Indian television is filled with saas-bahu shows. How different is this show going to be from them?
A. Saas-bahu shows have generation leaps, and the main characters are always the saas and the bahu. There is nothing like that in this serial.

Bidaai has proved, that it is no exception to other serials..in the sense of pretending like everything goes back to square one !!
I thought the leap had to be super good, or why else they would do it, loosing the two main characters?
Anmol is a good entry, but the story telling has not improved, there is no driving force in this story, wahi slow dull pace.
What are we waiting for ???Where is the strong points, excitement which attracts audiences?
I am atleast expecting a UFO drop from the sky to make things more exciting...🤣🤣🤣

Very well said reguser! I agree with every word you have said! they surely could have shown Ragini and Alekh as very mature individuals without this remarriage track. It isn't always necessary for a man to marry a woman to help her out. They could have shown Apoorva's entry without the remarriage track. Rajan Shahi was saying that he never exgtends his serials beyond the limit just to keep them going. However, I can see something completely opposite here. They are going back to square one just to keep this show gloing, when it is supposed to be heading towards the end. I agree with everything you have said so far in this post of your's!
