This is definitely a fun packed couple of weeks of sports - From cricket to football to tennis, this week is a sport lovers heaven.
But the lackluster performances of the World Cup are being outshined by the first three days at wimbledon, which has so far proved to be action packed and historic.
Federer's first round five setter set the tone it seems for a fabulous tournament, followed today's continuation of the longest running tennis match EVER!
That Isner\Mahut match is a test in endurance for those players and you can't help but watch as these two battle their way through. Its a staring contest between the two players, neither being willing to be the first to break (literally and figuratively) After ten hours of tennis, with the final set being 7 hours and counting, those players show what determination really is. Whoever wins that match tomorrow is deserving of all the accolades that are being used to describe their performance, and whoever loses (it will be a heartbreak) will have to find comfort in the fact that when it mattered, they were able to stand the test and give their all in their performance! They are both extraordinary in their stamina and mentality and as a spectator it is a joy to see the human spirit at its fighting best!
I love sports and I LOVE TENNIS!
