In the latest TAM rating week 26 (June 20-26), 'Bidaai' is the top rated show with a peak TVR of 7.2, which it achieved on Monday, 21 June. The show clocked a TVR of 7.1, 6.8, 5.7, 6.5 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday respectively. In comparison to this, 'Pavitra Rishta', which was the top show last week with peak TVR of 5.99, dropped alarmingly to number 17 with a TVR of 4.8 on Thursday. The Balaji show opened the week with a TVR of 3.8, improved to 4.5 the following day before closing the week with a TVR of 4.7
Doubling Shahi's joy is the fact that his other show, 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' jumped to third spot with a TVR of 7.0. 'Bidaai' holds the first two spots. The top nine spots belong to the two shows, while 'Pratigya', another star daily is at number 10 with 5.8 TVR.
For the second successive week, Star Plus grossed 400 GRPS (411), that's 32 GRPs down from the last week. However, both Colors and Zee TV lost further ground to draw 253 and 211 GRPs respectively. The former has been hit hard by the 24 % percent drop in 'Balika Vadhu', which clocked an average TVR of 3.7 as opposed to the 4.8 last week. As for Zee TV, the drop in ratings of 'Pavitra Rishta' and other key shows has hit it hard. The only gains were in the form of 'Jhansi Ki Rani' (rival to Balika Vadhu) and 'Keshav Pandit' (weekly) whose average TVR increased from 3.4 to 3.5 and 1.1 to 1.3 respectively. 'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo' took a further beating dropping from the previous average TVR of 3.6 to 2.9.
Sony gained 23 GRPs, holding on comfortably to its fourth spot with 148 GRPs, while SAB inched above Imagine TV (91) again with 97 GRPs.
