thanks for the update. so. lemme see. anurag in an asylum. lady singer claiming to be his wife. but despite finding him again (after a long time?) no surprise, no excitement. just a statement that ''he was always crazy''? pardon my french, but doesn't sound very heer-ish. No problem. I enjoyed updating. There was surprise, but you needed to see the episode to see her expression...You can't really understand it without watching the episode. Excitement is the wrong word, because the one she loves is in a mental hospital, she was more melancholic, shall we say? 😛 And there's no comparison to Heer- Heer was completely different to Taani as far as I can see from Taani's character so far. Heer did not know Prem at first, only knew him by name and waited for him all her life thus the surprise and excitement comes in. Taani knows Anurag inside out, she's his friend as well as soulmate and love. That 'he was always crazy' statement just shows how deep she knows and understands his character, not saying that he was literally crazy 😆

maybe the husband-wife-thing was some artefact of their childhood, which meant something to both of them. but didn't really work out in real life? Well from today's episode, nope, they actually got married 😆

but huh. rich girl. middle-class boy? she is talented. he probably is average at everything? except for secretly loving her, as they usually do. hmm. if that is a wedding ceremony that the mothers are cooking as a sneaky way to get the (other) child that they have always wanted then the two kids will grow up thinking they belong to each other. but maybe the guy (being average at everything) will have an inferiority complex and think he doesn't deserve her. from which silly complexes the girl (being good at everything) will not suffer. Wait, Anurag is the more wealthy one, wealthy family, wealthy home- Taani is the one living in the average house, can't really call her poor, but not as well-off as Anurag 😳 So I guess we can turn everything you said the other way round 😳 I don't know what the moms are up to 😆

however, this inferiority complex of his will ultimately lead to their ''pyar ka downfall''. and he will go bananas when he thinks that she has done exactly what he told her to do, and get married to some superior rich dude. I think Anurag will be the one to fall in love with someone else- Taani will understand the importance of their marriage and cherish it, whereas Anurag will decide to move on with his life and act like their marriage never happened. He will see Taani as his best friend, but not his love or his wife. He will probably feel that he was too young to get married and ignore their husband-wife relationship. This is where Neha Janpandit (Anurag's love interest will come in...😆)

shades of parineeta in the story? shekhar spurns lolita thinking she had given herself to some other guy. Yup, many similarities, but also many differences 😳

shades of devdas in this story? devdas turns to drink and destruction -- of himself (and everything else around him as well, the twit). Ditto! 😃

ah, well! so much for what has happened in the past. The past always has a significance on the present! 😆

let me look ahead and draw up a story about what will happen next while they talk about how these two got here. (since i always get things wrong, what's the harm, eh? 😆)

she will be ... uh ... nobody's wife. now that she has found him, she will spurn her singing career and try to get him back to sanity. maybe there'll be another lady nurse who will actually help him regain his sanity, and he will eventually leave and rejoin the lady after finding out and accepting that she is not married anyway. Haha, could be 🤣

(hey! ag will enter as the florence nightingale who will actually convince him to become sane again and rejoin his ''love'' who loves him, while all along she is falling with him herself, but is noble enough to sacrifice her love -- like ... uh ... that old hindi movie where a nurse does that for some mental patient, and then goes mad herself! man, i'd like to see ag playing that role -- she'd rock it!) ahem. sorry for that little digression. but hey! it makes for a lot of drama, no? Yes it does, but I doubt it will happen 😆

oooh, no! better way to have drama. the real wife will show up!!!! and demand that he return to the sweeping-cooking-cleaning job that she used to make him do while being married to her. No words 😆 Is this why he turned mental? Because his wife made him her ghulam? 😆

(that is what would have happened to shekhar in parineeta if he had gotten married to that rich girl instead of spending most of his wedding party breaking down the neighbour's wall. phew! lucky shekhar! unfortunately, looks like it's poor anurag!this would be the real reason that anurag ran away, poor thing.)

so, the singing lady will have to fight a long and complicated battle -- with lots of fake courts and sleepy judges and last minute pieces of evidence -- to get anurag away from evil wife.

the real drama will be that anurag is slowly losing all of his mind ever since he left the protection of the asylum (and florence ) and we, the audience, will be gripped with the question of

''will anurag die of madness before singing lady can save him from the clutches of need-a-maid-mad-or-not wife!'' Singing lady? 😆 She became a singer because she was heavily inspired by Anurag's mother- which shows how close their relationship was, not only with each other, but with each other's families. 😳

confession: i have not seen the show, just read zahra's wonderfully alive update. Thank you, glad you liked my update. But I really think you should watch the episode, it would wash away these little doubts you're having 😆 Because the update does not explain fully or do justice to the actual episode. It really has gone off to an amazing start. 😳

confession: tar-yay li-yay!! i bet the rickshaw drivers in bombay are laughing themselves silly! Most likely are 😆
