Uttaran comes to a halt!
Tina Dutta, who plays Ichcha in Uttaran, might appear docile on screen, but she is quite the opposite in reality. She is known to be very choosy about what she wears in her scenes, so much so that there have been delays owing to that.
A couple of days back, she accused a hairdresser of stealing a wig and the hairdresser in turn called the union members to handle the matter. Says a source present on the sets, "The wig was to be worn by the other actress, Rashmi Desai. Tina had carried both the wigs with her the previous day, but when she was asked for Rashmi's wig, she said she'd given it to the hairdresser. This hairdresser was new and not the regular one who does her hair usually. Tina insisted that she had given it to the hairdresser, who may have stolen it. What followed was the union stepping in and the shooting getting stalled. Tina was asked to apologise, but she stood her ground. Somehow the crew managed to calm the union members and the matter was resolved."
At the end of all the drama, guess what happened? The wig was found with Tina! Now, whether it was planted by someone in her bag or she herself had kept it and forgotten about it or it was all intentional, is still unclear. TOI called Tina but she denied the whole incident saying, "I don't know what you are talking about. Nothing of this sort happened."
