I know this is something that's probably not going to happen anytime soon...but hey, nothing stops us from discussing it 😃.

I'll go for the first option!! TWO little baby GIRLS on the way for the Sharmas...while Dadi or Padma may not be entirely satisfied with this...😆

And I'm sure that despite being the younger one, Jyoti's daughter will always be willing to sacrifice everything for her older cousin (Sushma's daughter) and will grow up to be a kind-hearted, hard working and naive girl, just like her mother!! Whereas Sushma's Laadli will be as stubborn as Sushma and probably boss around Junior Jyoti!! (Well I'd rather wish the child gets Sushma's character than Brij's evilness 😲)

Let's get voting people!! And see if the Jyoti Community gets it right 😆

I think Jyoti will have a girl to go along with the series and how it's portrayed.

But, think about this - what if Jyoti has a boy and it's the boy that no one else in the family can give the Vashists? That makes the baby more of a tool for fighting for ... even though Pankaj has given up his rights.

I'm rooting for both of them to have girls. But I think Jyoti will have a boy, and Sushma a girl. Reason being that this is how the dynamics in both the Sharmas & Vashisths would be affected.

In the Sharmas, we know how Deepu was the apple of Padma's eye b'cos in addition to being her own kid, he's also a son. That's what Dadi held against Lata, who could only come out w/ Jyoti & Sudha. But now, if Jyoti produces a son and Sushma a daughter, Dadi will automatically love the great-grandson more than the great-granddaughter. And Padma won't exactly be torn - she'll still prefer Sushma's to Jyoti's, but she'll be envious of the fact that Jyoti has a son and Sushi doesn't.

On the Vashisth side, I think Neelam will be pregnant w/ a daughter, and while the Vashisths ain't as superstitious as the Sharmas, they too will want a male heir, and CM, being CM, will want it from Pankaj/Neelam rather than Suday (wonder what happened to Pratik). If that happens, and Pankaj turns on Neelam, I can bet that he'll break the vow not by asking for the kid back, but by asking for Jyoti back, and I can see her refusing.

Reason I'm rooting for 2 daughters - if Jyoti has a daughter, then Pankaj might wish to have her, but CM and the rest of the family won't necessarily want that since it's not a male heir. In such a case, assuming that CM is marginalized by Neelam's behavior and isolation, I think that MN&G will turn on her, and if they can't get Jyoti back, they might ask Uday & Sudha to come up w/ a kid, in which scenario, Sudha may come up w/ the son of the parivar. (If she does, I hope that kid has the values of Uday, the innocence of Sudha but the temper of CM - that will be a fantastic combo)

All that said, I think Jyoti will have a boy, and Sushi a gal. It'll be funny if Sushi's daughter gets all of Brij's qualities. 🤣

@ samirah23: You're right Jyoti does need a daughter who can portray her in order for the serial to go on (in the long term)...and I absolutely agree with your comment on the need of a boy from Jyoti, in case there's no other grand-son for CM.

So I think what could happen and what NEEDS TO HAPPEN, is that this time Jyoti has a son, for which CM and Dadi/Padma will launch themself into a Catfight. And then when Jyoti finds a better hubby, she could have a second child, a daughter!! 😃

@ Vrisha: Yea Sudha could have a son...but I have a slight concern for Suday's child 😕...Remember how CM didn't want Uday to marry Sudha, because of the scare that she could pass on her personality disorder genes to her child? I just hope that doesn't happen 😒...or CM will get an additional reason to chase after Jyoti's child, saying that her younger sister Sudha couldn't give a healthy child to the Vashists.

Sudha's condition wasn't genetic - it's something that happened as a result of abuse by Dadi in her childhood. Or else, it would threaten not only Jyoti's kid, but Sushma's as well, since Sushma is a cousin of Jyoti & Sudha if you look @ just the moms.

Reason CM objected to Sudha was that she was Jyoti's sister. Before Jyoti entered the scene, one day, when CM accidentally dropped a credit card in the market and Sudha ran after her to return it, CM later remarked to Uday that she would be a good prospect for him. It was Sudha's loyalty to Jyoti, who CM always envied, that drove her against Sudha.

But I want Jyoti's kid to be far from both the Sharmas & the Vashisths.

Woops my bad!! Listening to all these evil things CM says all the time, I too became influenced and started thinking Sudha's problem is genetic 😆

Haha well my bottom line is, Bhairvi will probably manage to find an excuse to reach out to Jyoti's child, 😒 although like Vrisha has said, I wish the child gets to stay away from all these polluted minds and selfish characters.

With this adaption decision Sushma has taken, I think she could have a boy as well, and it wouldn't make a difference. And I hope she sticks to her decision, and adapts it out, regardless of anything Jyoti or Padma says to her.

Thought I would briefly pass by this poll, now that the answers have been revealed!! 🥳

Well seems like the minority of people that said Sushma will give birth to a boy and Jyoti a girl, got it right!! 😛 But I'm really not happy at all about how the events are turning out for Jyoti and her new-born , all because of the kid's stupid, selfish, blind father!!! 😡🤢

Come on blind-man, give the baby back to her mother and someone who's guaranteed to be a much better father than you: Kabir!!!
