Part 1

Jyoti is about to head in the direction of the baby's crying, when Deepu & Kabir arrive there & stop her. They ask her where she was headed, and Jyoti says that she got distracted, and not to blame Poonam, who's headed to the swimming pool. So Kabir & Deepu take Jyoti away. By then, Neelam has recovered, and rejoins Pankaj. As they head to their suite, Jyoti turns towards them, but misses them.

Kabir & Jyoti enter their suite. Deepu joins them, and Poonam protests that she was out to go swimming (in a sari, Poonam? 😲) Kabir sends Deepu to placate her. Deepu joins her, and tells her that the reason he stopped her was that he too wanted to join her. Poonam asks him since when did he know swimming? Deepu boasts that he swam the rivers and the seas 😆 Poonam is amused, and then asks him about the sleeping arrangements. Deepu tells him that one room is for him & Kabir, and another for Poonam & Jyoti. Poonam is understandably disappointed, and tells him that he doesn't know how to romance (I sympathize w/ Poonam, but really, do you expect Jyoti to sleep w/ Kabir b4 they are married?) Deepu invites her to teach him, but she tells him that she's off to the pool, and to learn from Kabir 😵😆

In Pankaj's suite, the baby - her name is Roshni 🥱- is crying, while Neelam has dozed off. 😆 Pankaj is nearby outside on the phone w/ a client, and tells him that he'll meet him in the lobby, and Jyoti hears (but doesn't see) him. She however does hear the baby, and is wondering about it. Pankaj then goes to his room, jerks Neelam and demands to know whether she dozed off - the baby had been crying for a while. Neelam wakes up w/ a start 😆 and denies having dozed off. Just then, the baby stops crying 😆 He tells her not to blame the baby, and asks her what sort of a mom she is. Neelam tells him that she's not her mother, and she has no idea how to raise a kid, but is trying. Pankaj warns her that in order to get his baby, he separated her from her real mother, so it won't take him a minute to separate himself from Neelam if she doesn't take proper care of the baby, since he can easily afford 10 caretakers like her. He doesn't want to hear her cry - he wants to hear his baby laugh, and that's Neelam's responsibility. (Interesting how Pankaj used the phrase 'his baby' instead of 'their baby' even though he expects Neelam to treat it as if it were her own) That was the condition on which he took her back. Neelam promises that it'll be as he wishes. Pankaj leaves, and Neelam is pissed, thinking that that baby's mom must be enjoying somewhere, while she slaves away after this baby. (Neelam, surely you have more sense than to think that Jyoti had your loving hubby kidnap her so that she could enjoy: if Jyoti wanted that, she'd either have returned to him, or just gone to your house and handed over the baby)

Jyoti is outside, and Kabir joins her, and they have some romantic moments. As it gets intimate b/w them, Poonam suddenly arrives w/ the tea, 😵 but seeing them, instantly apologizes, and tells them that she'll come w/ it later. (Okay, Poonam, we'll forgive you this time)

Part 2

Poonam gives Deepu his tea, but tells him in response to his question that she's not having any, since it's hot. Deepu wonders about it, and Poonam complains that while Kabir & Jyoti know how to be romantic, Deepu has put them (himself & Poonam) in separate rooms. Deepu offers to give her company by not having tea either, but just then, the 'more romantic' couple interrupt them for tea 😵 Deepu welcomes them in and asks them to join them.

Deepu then suggests that they play cards, but Poonam says that they only do that when they are bored. Deepu then suggests a game of antakshari, and they all enthusiastically agree. Deepu gets the ball rolling, Poonam takes it from there and then Kabir. The songs they select are generally romantic, but when it gets to Jyoti, she manages to find something really melancholy that changes everybody's mood for the worse. (Also, Jyoti's singing is awful!!! 🤢) She then feels sad and decides to go out. Deepu asks Kabir about it, but Kabir suggests to let her out, so that she can be @ peace.

Part 3

Jyoti is walking alone outside, while @ the same time and around the same place (what else), Neelam is taking Roshni for a stroll. Then Neelam's phone rings, and it's CM. Neelam is unable to get the signal, and so she goes around w/ the phone, leaving the baby where it is.

In the meantime, Jyoti is walking nearby, and hears Roshni cry. So she goes there, and wonders what sort of a mother leaves her baby just like this (Jyoti, if only you knew that this was your baby) Roshni stops crying as she sees Jyoti, and Jyoti is happy to see her stop. Then Jyoti picks her up from the stroller and hugs & kisses her, and suddenly, Jyoti just feels so overjoyed - all her happiness returns.

Precap

Pankaj is furious @ Neelam, demanding to know where Roshni is. So they go outside, and Neelam sees Roshni in Jyoti's arms. Pankaj wants to go forward, but Neelam restrains him, telling him that Roshni is w/ Jyoti. Pankaj is shocked to hear this

The ending was really funny - thanks to Neelam's stupidity (who leaves a baby alone even for a minute - CM's call was more important? Neelam, would you have done that had it been your baby? Speaking of babies, you seem to have bitten off more than you can chew) Jyoti got to be w/ her baby w/o knowing it, and her entire mood changed. I doubt that Pankaj can go back and claim it w/o being confronted on a lot of things, and he had better hope that Jyoti doesn't remember how Neelam looks. Or else, Jyoti is left w/ the baby, and will have to trace its parents 😆 But given how Pankaj behaved w/ Neelam today, I think he'll just tell her to go and get the baby back, if she wants to remain w/ him.

And Pankaj - just b'cos one has a baby doesn't imply that one's natural sleep gets altered: while Jyoti is a light sleeper, Neelam falls asleep pretty easily, by the look of it. So the baby's name is Roshni? How original!!! 🥱 But I liked how it reacted to Jyoti. Brilliant acting by the baby 👏👏

For a change, it was nice to see Poonam happy, and I did sympathize w/ her that she cannot enjoy this as much as she'd like. Just wish that neither of the romances had to be interruped. I do wish they had shown them swimming some - personally, don't care much for antakshari. Besides, Jyoti's ability to make a happy environment sad is unmatched. You better lose that habit once you're married.

So will Pankaj or Neelam be able to retrieve Roshni, or will they have to try a very roundabout way to get her back? Of course, Jyoti doesn't know it's hers, so she'll probably offer it to the hotel management as lost & found.

OMG I thought Jyoti wouldn't be able to meet her child for another few years. Yeayyyy I need to watch this epi!! 😃

BTW the song was Lukkha chuppi from Rang De Basanthi... it is about a mother singing to her baby who has hidden from her... and she tells her child that she is tired of searching for the baby and it is getting dark and she is scared now and asks the child to come back to her...

Kabir is the one who gives her the hint to sing this song... :-)

Thnx 4 da great update n it was a great episode so I just went and watched it and jyoti doesn't sing awefully. I felt it was quite nice only

^^^This was revealed during the search for a new groom for Jyoti - that Sudha & Uday were vacationing in the US. Last time they were seen was @ Sushma's godh bharai - since then, they've disappeared, and weren't even there for Sushma's wedding.

In reality, Sriti Jha is busy w/ Rakt sambandh, and Alok Narula w/ Raja ki ayegi Baraat, so neither of them has much time for Jyoti. That actually makes it less complicated, since Sudha would have definitely wanted Jyoti to come back to Pankaj along w/ Roshni, and would be very unlikely to support Jyoti w/ Kabir. That said, I would like Sudha & Uday to be there for a final appearance @ Jyoti's wedding, before leaving, and letting it be known that they were leaving Udaipur, settling down elsewhere and starting their own family - maybe w/ MN&G, but w/o CM.
