For a bad movie to affect an actor, he/she should BE a good actor in the first place. Yeah, Mrs Rai Bachan is very famous, and very popular worldwide, and very in demand, but that does not make her a good actress, at least in my opinion it does NOT.
The only three movies that worked big time for me were Provoked, Umrao Jaan and Jodha Akbhar. Those were superb movies, with superb acting. And yeah, I also happen to remember a lot of Kuch Naa Kaho, in which she stole the limelight, especially in the end sequence. But apart from that, I don't think she's that great an actress.
That said though, this is Bollywood. Right now, I can't think of one actor or director capable of saying he's sure to hit the bull's eye with a movie - okay, perhaps except Aamir. He's always sure... and he's right too!
Edit: And I definitely agree with Rhea. Hits and Flops don't affect her anyway. She's never judged in terms of her acting capabilities!
