Why no romance for Simbhi?

Everything that Neil Bhatt conveys as Abhi is absolutely clean and shows Neil's own good breeding as well as excellent acting. Abhi comes off as cute and refreshing and fun and Smriti acts very well in response to him, she is very consistent with her role in the romantic sense this regard. Their romance is the whole charm of Karol Bagh show. I've often wondered if it is because of the age of the actors, that the show doesn't venture into any physicality between these two? Otherwise,why can't they venture into a kiss, into more physicality ?. They could have shown this on the first attempt of Simbhi SR after the payal scene but they didn't. There would have been more charm and believability to their relationship if they show the physical connection, long overdue. What do you think, folks?

I couldn't agree with you more! The age of the actors is and cannot be in question as they are both the same age of 22 in real life. So neither one is a child nor one older than the other. Why they are not showing any romance is the zillion dollar question of the century! These people need to realize that showing romance between SimBhi is another wonderful way to raise their TRP's for which they are concerned with. These two actors have such an amazing chemistry and the bonding and the ability for both of these actors to emote to each other thru their eyes is like no other couple in the TV industry. Many have tried and failed to show such an amazing chemistry. The comment you made of " Their romance is the whole charm of Karol Bagh show" is the most sincere and true sentence and I wish the CV's would put that into effect and make use of the talent they have on their hands.

Age of the actors has nothing to do with their performance I am sure.And both Neil and Smriti have exhibited thorough professionalism till now which is quite evident from their offshoots and from the ZRAwards fuction.

I remember Juhi Chawla in an interview (Stardust way back in 1992-93) gives her opinion about all her costars. And she mentioned this way about Shahrukh. ...

With Shahrukh, since he is a trusted and close friend, I dont have to constantly worry thinking...Hey can I hold him like this or touch him this way because I know he will not take in any other wrong way. So understanding and bonding goes a long way in being called as a couple with a good chemistry.

Both Neil and Smriti share such a wonderful onscreen chemistry and they have done intimate scene (within Indian television limits) in the show ; just that it is quite handpicked. The park scene where they miss a kiss and also during the scene where Abhi kisses Simi on her cheeks and runs away. If actors have done that scene in the most convincing way, it would certainly not got to do anything to avoid any physicality between actors.

It is sad that viewers are deprived of AbhiSimi romance. Probably thats what they are trying miserably to prove that in spite of not getting chance to be romantic and intimate like any other normal couple, Abhi and Simi are together and that they are soul-mates. All TV serials are following this trend. The lead pair remain in love in spite of getting separated as in shows PR or CB.

I sincerely hope that they are saving Abhi-Simi romance later for the rainy day. 😉☺️

They should have used their romantic scenes or SR scenes as promos to increase their TRPs(they didnt use any😕 or not even shown once as promo😲😲) but instead they used the scene that Simi accepted one night stand as promos( this was shown as promo many times 😡😡)
Thats cent percent true that their romance is charm of the show but Cvs are totally bent on creating never ending problems may be they are allergic to light moments😆
These cvs are totally neglecting Simbhi talent and chemistry with which they can do wonders😉

" Their romance is the whole charm of Karol Bagh show"s it is cent percent true.even i think bcoz of the real life age the cv r handling it this way compare to other series.lagta hai cv sirf kb ke problems doodne mein yakeen rakte hai ,sara samay sirf problem doondne se unhe romance ka sense hi nahi raha.god cv ko toda akal do taki hum bhi is problems se chutkara paye.

I so agree with you!!! The CVs should try promoting the Simbhi romance in their promos, there is already a steady audience for the older woman-younger man romance as shown by earlier attempts. But what makes this a unique opportunity is the AMAZING TALENT of NEIL and SMRITI!!!

Age of the actors has nothing to do with their scenes or roles they play coz they are many actors in films today where old lady is paired with young man or very young lady paired with old man(particularly in South India old enough to be his daughter or grand daughter😆😆) still they are able to emote the scenes very well😊
Its completely Cvs fault for totally neglecting Neil's and Smriti's talent😡

Both Neil and Smriti are fantastic actors. They speak volumes through their eyes. My favorite scene that got me hooked on KB was when Neil accidentally discovers Simi is Going to be Anita"s sister in law the day he comes to her house. They did not know each other well then, but even at that time their chemistry was just rocking fantastic. How Smriti looks at Neil pleading with him not to disclose what happened with Bhalla was just fab and Neils response his amusement, anger and disgust at Bhalla was so beautifully portrayed without saying a word.

The cv's are really out of their mind not to cash in on such chemistry. Are they deaf and blind to not listen to our constant pleas. I do not know what track they are trying to show. If they really want to show that these kind of marriages with age difference does not work in our society, hence Neil gets attracted to a younger Mili then I disagree with them and see no future for KB. Simbhi share a very strong emotional bond and it is very natural for that to progress into physical,You do want to be intimate with a person you love. By depriving Simbhi and us viewers that romance Cv's are doing irreparable damge to KB.
