I think its Sandeep and he is acting so innocent and somehow Maulik knows that its Sandy and that the reason why he is turned up at the kidnappers and he will trap them and rescue the kids..

Its Maulik... the slender build of the baddie... has to be Maulik. Sandy has a tummy and Sarang is abit muscular, Also the kidnappers look like Mauliks worker boys (he knew one of the daddies),,

Its a ploy for Maulik to get into the families good books.. he'll pretend that hes saved them when its him who did it all in the first place...
