police beating the family in jail

i thought the beating that was given to the family in the jail was uncalled for.
okay a few whacks, but why constantly did they keep hitting them. that is torture. just leave them in jail for a few days and they will realize what is wrong. i thought the beating was rather mean.
secretly though i did not mind maya receiving a few whacks for what she did, but the police lady was too much hitting her and the doc so much. what meany police.
what did you thing about his scene? 😡 😡 😡 also why did they have to put anadi, his brother and father in the jail. they did nothing. only maya should have gone.
