Nice topic!
I believe all relationships consists of some compromises somewhere down the lane. And long distance relationships are not very different. Though, I'd agree that they are a lil different, but definitely NOT odd! When a couple decides to get married, they compromise on a lot of things, for example; leaving their families, their jobs, their lifestyle etc. Similarly, compromising in long distance relationships shouldn't be seen as something bad or unacceptable. I've known few friends who were in long distance relationships, infact they still are and trust me its not as bad as one might think. I'd agree that these kind of relationships are a bit more fragile but they're definitely not impossible. I believe, trust factor a bigger role in Long D. than other relationships since believing in each other is the only option you have. Moreover, this strengthens the relationship even more.
I personally believe that long distance relationships are still seen as something very hard to keep or totally an impossible thing and this was clearly portrayed in the previous episode of RC. Though, I've nothing against RC, I still believe that all the writers should now start to show the new aspect of long distance relationships which is based on complete trust and just love!
