Hi everyone. There is not much of saregama to be discussed now. The next schedule will start on 16 March.

Do you have any comments on the dress these females wear for the award nights? I would say disgusting.

Here in India everyone is quick to comment "Oh the girls in West dress badly". I am sure you guys in USA will disagree. I disagree with this statement too. Although I dont stay in the US, I have been to USA and found them quite decently dressed. What is wrong with the girls and ladies in India? Everyone wants to be a Ms. Sherawat. Disgusting!

Who was the desinger? Vikram Phadnis? Yes, clothes (male and female) were uninspiring, esp female ones. Why didn't they wear Indian cloths? That would have gelled with SRGMP's tradition.

BTW, I found this a few days back, was wondering whether to post it or not.

"Designer woes
Two finalists of Zee's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 are unhappy with the clothes designed by celebrity designer Vikram Phadnis. The two conservative Maharastrian girls, Swananda and Nihira are uncomfortable wearing the short sexy skirts and off-shoulder tops. So, the duo has decided to design their own outfits..."

Dwaraka - there was an article in Times of India last week (behind the scenes of Filmfare awards). Aishwarya's strap had come out at the back and it would have been a free for all if not for friend Karan Johan, who quickly put it in order. You like to read this? I dont know from which part of India you are from. Check with TC, he is from Bangalore. Go down to the mall and see how teenage girls dress. I am a lady and everytime I see someone dressed like this, I curse the mother of the female.

Solidsnake - I read that too! Tks for posting anyways.

Yes, why cannot girls/women wear some nicer clothes......why cannot they wear sari even once.......they are young I know but still..........in Idol 2 when Antara and Meenal wore sarees, they really looked good........they have such beautiful sarees now ......... I am not saying they should wear Indian clothes all the time, but every now and then they should for sure..........
