I have a feeling that someone else has posted this topic...if not then I am sure someone else must have had the same thought going through there heads 😆

The show's first week started off briliantly!

When I saw the first episode I was impressed but I was also seeing a bit of similarities

I don't blame Ekta for it because she has done both shows

Did anyone think that this show was similar to "Kitani Mohabbat Hai"?

I loved that show so I am even MORE excited for this show

Am pretty sure though that this show has a totally different perspective in mind

Even though they were both love stories, this show will obviously go more in depth

Well first of all, u're absolutely right! i had the same thought going thru my head too! i was never a huge KMH fan, but my cousin was..and so i was constantly updated! LOL...but nonetheless....i love karan kritika...and have seen most if not all of their sbs/sbb interviews <33

as for the similarities....i totally agree! i did find that the whole flashback idea was definitely similar to KMH! which i'm not really bothered about :)

although, what does bother me is the fact that will this show lose its essence like KMH.....i don't mean to sound pessimistic....so please hear me out! but i was really disappointed when KMH ended without any reference to arjun being in jail and re-telling his and arohi's love story to his lawyer (who i still remember was played by rakshanda khan! LMAO) i just hope that ekta, her creatives, and the entire team of tere liye don't forget that this story is in a flashback...so when this show does come to an end in the later future, hopefully they will remember to show at least a week or two weeks worth of epis showing anurag's recovery and his and taani's happily ever after! :))

You know when i first read its similar to Tere Naam i was a bit too but then i thought agar duniya mey aik dafa pagal par movie ban gai it does not mean key doobara kabhi kuch ban hi nahi sakta i mean there are a lot of people who loose their mental balance and all have different stories

Similarly when people mentioned its similar to KMH, i was a bit disappointed but then the only similarity is that the show is in FB, which i don't think is a big deal, I mean several other shows must have run in FB mode too. As for Taani being a singer like Arohi, well show is based in Kolkotta and its hub of culture, so i guess thats why they showed her as one

So its ok i guess ... i just hope its not a ditto copy, an inspiration is ok 😆

Yes! The thing is that because they let go of the fact that everything was happening in a flashback, it eventually became a drag. And the ending wasn't suitable for the entire serial

You would expect a few misunderstandings being cleared...Maybe a dramatic scene b/w Arjun and Arohi

So yes, am worried that Tere liye may end up going towards the same path
Lets hope that Ekta doesn't make that same mistake.

I would expect all us viewers to see Anurag in a normal state eventually.

Actually, Isn't that why Taani has came? Well one to see her husband. But another to help he get out of that state of mind right?

It's funny how when KMH first went on air, everyone thought that this was a copy of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Jab We Met, and Veer-Zaara

Ekta sure is original...lmao

I never saw Tere Naam so can't say anything about that

But true, everyone has their own reasons for being mental..now I am thinking of the movie Kyon Ki 😆 But apart from similarites, I see a unique love story in this show

Just hope it turns out that way

I hope that this show doesn't show FB mode forever

Like KMH became a drag after awhile loosing trps as well (It was expected...)

Yea, the fact that both main leads are singers haha

And both are 'behind bars'

But then again, No vamps in this love story whereas in KMH we had many

Then the kid marriage....didn't happen in KMH

I am HOPING that they don't show Anurag helping Taani become a singer because that will be the one thing that will get me upset 😕

So I am not saying that this is a copy but similar...

KMH was inspired from Veer-Zara and it had never been a second thought but KMH ws just inspired with regarding its opening concept after that could see nothing similar atleast as far as i watchd it

thn fr TL I agree with soaps tht for now TL is just inspired frm Tere Naam as both has similarities of a person madly in love who ended up in mental asylum but reasons are different in movie i guess he was bitted by goons but here sumthng dfrnt will happen

and FB mode is also same in both shows but it was the need of the show

True, But watching it in FB mode forever won't be fun either...

I mean at some point he ends up becoming mental

Just don't want them to take forever to show something very simple

hey kmh has a last week in which d flashback is over n d misunderstandings between arjun n arohi gets cleared... n they finally get married in d final episode..... one more thing KMH is coming back in d month of july...... the sequel 2 Kmh n it will be telecasted in imagine itself we can have flashbacks of how d misunderstanding get cleared in dis.......

dis story is entirely different from KMH..... these 2 are friends from childhood... they r already married.... d only similarity is d flashback n being behind bars.... in kmh arjun was in jail.... in dis anu is in a mental asylum.......i dont think dis story will lose its essence n all.... dis is gng 2 b one of d long running shows like ekta' other shows (kzk, kggk, n ksbkbt)... hopefully dis show might get a nice n proper ending when it come...... now itself d show is on a promising start d first week telecast was awesome... i hope d show maintains its awesomeness through out........
