Monica Bedi was born on January 18,1975 in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. Bedi is adopted daughter of Dr.Prem Kumar Bedi and Shakuntala and was born on 18 January 1975 at a village named Chabbewal in district Hoshiarpur of Punjab. Her parents migrated to Norway when she was 10 months old. They run a garment store in Norway. She has 2 brothers, namely, Sonu and Monu. They went to Guru Nanak Public School Chabbewal up to 8th grade, and then dropped out. When Monica came back from Norway and entered Bollywood industry, both the brothers went to Mumbai to tag along and try to join the movie industry.
She has participated in shows like Big Boss and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.
