First off, the people included...it is not as if Rishta.com has a board of directors which can vote on an issue, these were just employees who don't need to see or participate in executive decision making. And some of them like Aashish! Only 2 months old and they get to sit in and vote on such an important issue? They might as well have included Sally 😆 Pity she got left out when Vignesh got to come 😆 Now I love Vignesh, but even though he was the star-employee sometime back, I always considered him to be relatively down the ladder, so to see him there...once again, the people voting were in inadequate positions to do so. If they really needed a general opinion and wanted to include the employees in it, they could've held a hidden vote regarding a merger in the office and judged according to the results. The only two people who had a significant opinion to weigh in with were Ruchika and Huzeifa.
Of those two, Ruchika's vote toh I don't understand...she was shown as excited about the deal when she first found out of it and was always inquiring about what's happening, but today she refused it with no explanation. Huzeifa's vote changed last minute, just based on what he saw of Mr. Kohli and his disappointment because of it. One wonders where all the 'faida' in the deal that Huzeifa saw earlier went away to? At the very least, he should have told Rohan that he was changing his decision before calling the meeting, however bad an idea that was in itself.
Secondly, no matter the outcome, one of Rohan or Isha were going to be turned down in front of all the people in the meeting and their disagreement about it must surely be embarrassing to watch, even before the shouting match began. From the beginning, they should have solved this in private by talking out the pros and cons, rather than making such a display in front of the others. Huzeifa was right that Isha's attitude was terrible because she avoided every chance to talk about the deal within themselves, and so, it had to go to a meeting like that, which didn't end up too well.
Lesson of the story: Don't have important decision-making meetings with every aera-ghera 😛 Don't be an Isha about decisions in life :P Talk them out and be open, who knows you might get your way, but at least you won't embarrass or repel your friend/colleague/family member with stubborn opposition. Oh, and don't be like Rohan-Isha, going along with [Huzeifa's] ideas that aren't sensible to begin with 😆
