THursday KK Update

The ep begins with KK shocked and upset at the news that her Su will
be leaving for Dubai the very next day . She is in tears and Su
consoles her but KK is still weeping ; Su explains that this is our
only chance - if we don't take it today, we may really regret it
tomorrow ....we must bear this. KK: How will I live without u? ( Yahi
toh we all are thinking!!!) and Su is also very upset tho trying to
look happy . KK asks him if the guy who has given him the job is
reliable and honest and Su says - well I think he is but y do u ask
so KK says thats coz these days everyone we have trusted has turned
out to be a turncoat so.....But Su reassures her that this fellow is
ok...and gives KK 15000 Rs saying that this is an advance..and its a
construction business ( can't be that menial if he is getting 15000
bucks as advance!)
Next Morning : Dadaji and Dadima are wondering were Su-Ku have gone
so early w/o telling anyone ....just then Su-Ku enter ( KK is wearing
a familiar green saree - does that ring a bell???) and Su is in a
dark blue shirt......Both show all the stff they have got - Dadaji's
medicines, 15 days ration, vegetables, Dadima's puja stuff and
everyone naturally wonder how they could get so much stuff? Dadima
even says u shouldn't have got so much in one go - we should have
done some saving but Su says please don't talk of saving and all and
all of u plz be happy - I want to take happy memories of u with me -
and everyone naturally perks up ki where is he going, Sab ki kuchh
aisi hi haalat hoti hai, jaisi apni kal hui thi - they all ask him
<> where he is going and Su explains sadly but outwardly smilingly that
he has to go to Dubai for his new job. Hearing this everyone is
naturally shaken and upset. Su tells everyone to be happy bec'z he
doesn't want to remember them as sad and upset and infact he says
that atleast u all will be here together , while I'll be all alone
there and Dadaji, Dadima and Veena who are all weeping try not to
look so upset - Dadima says we will try to think that u have gone
again to hostel ....won't we Veena and Veena also nods a bit ....In
short sab ro rahe hain and Su-Ku try to appear normal but its all
very sad!!!

Break

Veena and KK have gone to those 3 fellows of the Chawl Comittee and
are taking their permission to distribute prasad and the chawl walas
are happy to have volunteers tho they show outward reluctance to
allow them....
Veena is cooking something and KK is helping her and Su enters and
says wow - what a heavenly smell....today Durga Mata will surely be
happy coz MY mom is cooking prasad for her. Veena who is weeping all
thru, says yes, yes ofcourse she has to be happy coz all this is
happening bec'z of her blessings only .....looks sad and upset - as
does Sexy Su and so does KK....Its basically an emotional scene beten
Ma and Beta and Veena is really very sad while Su is trying to
console her ....this is not the 1st time I am going to Dubai so why
this rona-dhona and Veena says I know but earlier you were the owner
and now u r just a ......

.....naukar? says Su but what's the big deal Ma? After all its all
work na? And u have taught us that no work is big or small so we must
do everything with full heart. But Veena now is openly crying and
says I know all this but how can I stop my tears - I am after all ur
mother. Tells KK to cook the prasad as she is crying too much....
The scene ends with Su hugging her ( atleasyt I think so!)

Cut to the chawl people all eating prasad - Mad Monkey is apparently
distributing it and some women ares hwon with one praising it very
much; so is that Drunkard and everyone wonders that kisne banaya hoga
ye prasad and when told that its the Wadhwa Clan, one woman changes
her tune but the others are all happy to eat it as they say that they
have never had such tasty and wonderful prasad. The people s[eculate
ki inke paas itney paise kahan se aaye and some say taht the family's
son is off to Dubai and Mad Monkey is shown listening to all
this ....prays to God that till the time Su returns home again , I
will do a fast daily ( so if Hu doesn't leave the serial, please
forward your thanks to Mad Monkey who incidentally looks more made-up
than our KK!!!)

Su enters in a light blue shirt where KK ( still in that green saree)
is packing his suitcase and says artifically chirpily ' Have u packed
everything My darlingoo KK?' ANd KK just keeps silent Su continues
in the same tone that do tell me where u have packed my stuff nahin
toh I will have to come from Dubai to ask where is my towel, socks
etc etc but even while he is saying all this with a smile on his lips
and tears in his eyes ( aankhon mein nami,hansi labon pe, kya haal
hai , kya dikha rahe ho, kya gum hai jisko chhupa rahe ho ?- tum itna
jo muskura rahe ho......!)...so even wen he is saying all this , KK
just clings to him weeping uncontrollably and Su asks 'Kya Hua?'
KK : I won't be able to live without you....
Su : Me too but we must think of our family's happiness...
KK : what happiness is this if it causes our separation?
Su : We must think of our family first - that is what I have learnt
from u - our separation comes secondary ( ok - ask the TRPs!)....ab
mere jaane ka waqt aa gaya hai....so pelase smile...
But KK is in tears and just gives a ghost of a smile and Su says '
Hey, not this smile - I want meri Kumkum wali muskurahat......and KK
<> smiles thru her tears and Sexy Su brushes his hand slightly across
her lips and keeps his same hand in his pocket and asys ' I have
caught your smile and have kept it safely with me - so now whenever I
am alone and sad in Dubai, I will take out and see your smile and be
happy....and both CRY ( and so do we but AP kya sadist hai bhaiya -
for shooting this cryyyy-cryyy episode on Hu's birthday???)

Break

Rahul comes with the taxi and everyone is there with Su - Dadima
telling him to be careful about his meal times and Veena asking him
to ring up ...and so on. All go as Rahul says its getting late and Su
stops at Bijutai's door ( Sulbha Deshpande) - she says I know u r
going abroad like my son but I also know that u will not be like my
son - u are a real good son to ur mother and may every mother have a
son like you. Some more glycerine is used as everyone cries some
more...

REach the taxi and dadaji tells Su-Ku to go in the first taxi and
taht they would follow but KK says I am not going and everyone looks
shocked but KK expalins that I cannot see Sumit go before my eyes so
I am going to saty with Dhruv who is sleeping ....
So everyone including Mad Monkey leave and Su is left with Ku to say
Bye Bye .....Su says 'Do say ILU in Dhruv's ears every nigt from my
side'
Su : I will miss u my love'
KK: Also crying ' I will miss you too....every moment ....every
breath ... I will miss u ( and so shall WE!!!!!!)....
Both hug and then KK closes her eyes and Su asks her why have u
closed your eyes and KK says coz I cannot bear to see you leave
before my eyes so I have closed them....u go and only then will I
open my eyes.....
Su sits in the taxi with Dadaji and leaves and KK opens her eyes to
see him gone.....
