What's Anupriya's name in the serial?Tani or Mishti.The nurse of the mental assylum adressed her as mashoor singer Tani but she said that she maybe Tani for the whole world but to Anurag she is only his Mishti.But Anurag calls her Taani from childhood and in the promo we see that Anurag calls her Taani.Then how come her name is suddenly changed to Mishti?

maybe mishti is her nickname or smthn..

mishti is her nickname....

taani is her real name....

but weird...anu calls her taani even in childhood days...

i guess we'll find out sometime in the near future why he calls her mishti....

but i hav to say the name mishti reminds me of mishti doi...n then that leads me to remember a premeer scene including the word mishti doi...im sori for the mention..but i cnt help but mention it....

i kno huh i was confused too..coz in the promos they showed that the room's walls were filled wid taani written on them..nd now all of sudden they show mishti all over the place...wats up wid that??!

As the lil Onu is too fat... & he loves to eat sweets.... so may be he named Taani as Mishti.....coz Mishti means sweets...

but only for Anurag she is Mishti..

I recently read an aritcle about tere liye in which ekta says that anurag is not in the assylum cuz of taani but for some other girl.. So I think taani is just taani.. And mishti is some other girl.. In the beg when taani says that she is mishti.. I think that was some sort of a way to confuse us into thinking that she is mishti..

But if you look logically.. When a person is so madly in love with someone that they actually lose their mental stability, they react when they see that person.. Whereas when anurag saw taani in the future.. He didnt have any reaction out of the ordinary..

Therefore.. Mishti is probably someone else..
