Once I used to enjoy MJHT.
Once I used to enjoy Sajan.
Once I used to enjoy Mayur.
Once I used to enjoy Sayank.
Once I used to enjoy Gunur.
Once I used to enjoy Benia.
Once I used to enjoy Dodia (:D)
but the thing that I used to enjoy the most?
Once I used to enjoy coming here.
Now ... guys, most of you have made it a living nightmare.
All of you - you're such januable sweet people.
Or were.
Coming back on here is like watching a remake of Jekyll and Hyde - what's happened to all of you? Where is the unity, the love that I once enjoyed and was a part of?
Why are you all insisting on turning yourself into complete and utter monsters
when I know, you know and everyone else knows
that there's so much hate in the world already - so much suffering and pain
and its up to us
to help make the world a better place?
Why are you insisting on causing further pain? Further hatred?
This is actually bullying - bullying isn't verbal or physical abuse, its the downright hatred against someone - hurting someone to such an extent that they feel scared in their environment.
And yes, sitting here behind a computer screen, its actually scary even thinking about coming back.
And the worst bit is - you, me, us .. we've turned this place into Hell.
You all need to calm down, relax!
Some of you are acting like complete children - over what?
Over a fictional TV CHARACTER?!!
A figment of the creatives' imagination, someone who was skilfully and charmingly portrayed by a wonderful actress but who will ALWAYS remain a character.
Just a character.
Seriously - the attitude that many of you are displaying it's actually immature.
Have ANY of you never experienced a death on TV?
Here in the UK - there have been so many characters on Television who have died and who I have missed.
There have been so many that I can't even list them all on both hands yet you guys are overreacting just for one?
Get a grip guys.
Death is a natural process.
So is grieving.
And most importantly - time heals everything.
And THAT's a message all of you guys need to understand.
I mean, you're acting like she's your own sister or mum - there is a huge difference between being a fan, supporting someone, and actually knowing a person.
None of you know her - all you know is NUPUR .
The character she is ACTING.
Got that - acting!
there is a huge difference between personal lives and work lives.
so STOP mixing them up - why are you all acting like babies?
Oh so she's left and the world has ended?!
I adored the romantic scenes, yes I admit that.
But that was the extent of it - it's NOT life or death.
Okay??
All we, as the audience, see is the acting.
We don't see the time and effort that the production team put in.
We don't see the camera crew.
We don't see the scripts.
We don't see the make-up artists, the designers, the assistants, the producers.
There is a whole TEAM that we're not aware of, that aren't shown on the TV.
They would have been behind the decision as well as Rati and the gang.
SO just STOP harping on about it already!
Honestly - some of you are just so rude.
"Rati's covering up for the CV's" "She's taken it all on herself" "Oh you can see it in her eyes, her tears" "Oh poooorrrr baby".
Get a grip.
ITS A PROFESSIONAL DECISION.
She said herself in the interview that she wanted to leave.
So do the kindest thing and let her.
Stop petitioning and causing pain and holding someone back from their dreams - sooner or later people move on with their careers.
Sooner or later she'd want to do a new project.
Sooner or later, there would be a new cast.
Deal with it.
Who are you to stop her? Are you really that selfish?
The decision's made so accept it.
If you really want to support her - then you'd accept her decision and let her move on. You'd support her in whatever new projects she may/may not take on.
THAT's what true fandom is.
I could go at places like Livejournal where there are HUGE fandoms - MJHT is tiny compared to international shows such as Doctor Who, Torchwood, CSI, BGT etc etc.
In the UK, shows are huge.
Characters die and new characters come.
But never has there been such idiotic reactions - yes people cry and they get upset.
But they ALWAYS support the actor's decision.
It's called RESPECT.
You need to respect her decision, the team's decision, the channel's decision.
If you can't do that then you're not a fan.
You're a selfish leech - wanting someone to stay purely for visual pleasure.
Yes I may sound rude.
Yes I may have hurt people.
But honestly?
Why should I apologise for giving people a reality check?
For reminding them that they have a life outside of TV?
They have responsibilities and people who will die, people more important than a character?
Honestly?
I did this out of love.
Because that's what love is - when you care for people and want them to live the best life they can.
So all of you, please calm down.
Okay?
I want to return and be proud of being part of this fandom. Not scared of it.
Keep smiling,
Rida x
