I know we all hate Kokila and her motives to yell at Gopi are not positive. But I think that that attitude is what is going to make Gopi a stronger person, to be able to stand up for herself against Rashi, Kinjal and Rashi's mother. She is going to give Gopi the confidence and inner strength she needs to become a stronger person. She doesn't have to be anyones slave, and that is what Kokila while indirectly give her. I know she is being mean to Gopi only to make her scared of her mother-in-law and control her around her finger. But the truth is that is is unknowingly giving her the a lesson on life!

I agree. I also think that Kokila will give Gopi the confidence to stand up for herself in front of Raashi, because Raashi is going to take advantage and get Gopi to do all her work, but when Kokila sees that, she will lash out at Raashi and tell Gopi to stand up for herself. Kokila has already told Raashi that Gopi is the older daughter-in-law of the family and made Raashi touch Gopi's feet.
