indian idol eliminations

Is it required so much hungama for eliminating the singers.Almost all the singers are good.

I feel very sorry to see them on the platform with so much tension on the faces to hear the results.

I watch most of the music reality shows.Why can't the elimination is simple like how Sri.S.P.Balasubramanyam does in" Padutha Teyaga".Just anounce the marks% and at the end the least scorer is anounced.It is done in few minutes.I really liked that.
