WE ALL ARE LOOSERS ! stop cribbing !

Guys and Gals,

Vinit no vinit, Debo no Debo, Hema or no Hema. Initially I was a bit frantic on who is going to win. I messaged for someone at some or the other point of time ( in fact many a times) , thinking that my ONE vote will count for that someone.

But at the end , I think , we all are loosers...... Including ME !

We were dragged into the controversy of regionalism, we were lured to vote for someone, we were lured to pick someone as our favourite......... all in a great good game plan by gajji, mentors, and zee.

Of yesteryears saregama, where singers were given marks by renowned judges of music fame, I think that was much better. But old changeth to new. The era of choosing your favourite contestant came via public voting. It became a hit concept. But this concept is not for us, but for the pockets of zee, or for any TV news channel.

Finally who are winners ?

It is the celluar company who charged their fee and the zee which took 60 - 75 % of each paisa spent on sms !

5.4 crores from All India......... means ~ at least 15 crores revenue for zee or may be more !

15 crores !!!!!!!!,

And this is not just the only show where we fools are smsing !. Imagine other shows. Shows like Indian Idol,etc etc.

Imagining a situation that we are spending, 15 crores ( IAM USING ALL MINIMUM FIGURES) over 2 weeks on one musical show. 7.5 crores over 1 week for one show. There are at least 4 shows going on some or the other channel. Plus local channels with their own voting fundas. May be 15-20 crores at the MINIMUM being spent by us over 1 week.

What does that mean ------ 80 crores over 1 month !!!!!! Iam sure it must be much more .... really more. I have an inution this might be just the tip of an iceberg !! ( someone of you who is good in statistics or is in marketing , please calculate it out, how much does this ice weigh.... for our knowledge)

Forget the thing how much of these sms revenues goes to Government for a tax, but lets get this straight-------- We all are throwing crores of rupees over weeks.

I can not plead people, but I know what to do :--- ------

Instead of spending on sms for people on shows, I will count the number of times I would have smsed, I would save that rupee, and over a period of one week or month, Iam sure that would be AT LEAST 10 - 20 rupeees............ ENOUGH TO BUY ONE TIME FOOD (good food) FOR THAAAAAT NEEDY PERSON NEAR ME !( There are so many). You guys might have more brilliant ideas than this………. Yes, harbour that goooood idea, and give it life !

It is good to sms on public forums, for topics like Jessica Lal, to give ur opinion that law is playing foul,,, but guys think twice, before smsing to musical and stupid public polls.

Who cares who won, Debo, Vinit, Nihira, or Hemu ! The winner and looser finally will struggle in this filmy industry to make it big in life, but what I mean is,:------

At the end, RICH ARE GETTING RICHER ( zee, gajji, and cellular companies) by our much more than 1 rupee charged SMSes, and POOR ARE GETTING POORER ( thaaat person near you and me !!!!), by robbing that rupee, which we could have given them, or help them in some purpose of their life !,

Rather than YALGAAR HO, JAI HO MANGALMAY HO, or even JAI MATA DI LETS ROCK ( Sorry Jai Mata Di, no offence intended ( Iam a strong believer in Jai Mata Di) , but I dont like people using your name in loud voices, and that mouth shouting on regionalism, for I know jai mata di, YOU are everywhere, you are at north, south, west as well as east.... The word Jai mata di is very pious and can not be the domain of any particular gharana, being used to give it a market rating)...................

Yes, rather than these stupid gharana sayings, lets voice for one gharana-------a gharana that is called INDIA

Well people abroad Iam sure will not SMS or phone since hughly expensive and also I think international phone/sms if someone really wanted to spend the money would mean nothing! Internet votes which are nocharge were a waste of time since meant nothing! Actually Indians abroad were really seculded in the process or in your terms were saved in a sense probably spent nothing and that is why are value or input was nothing and as they kept saying its india's voice not voice of indians all over the world who watch the show and love it! I mean internet vote percentages were never mentioned and they only talked about percentages in India yet people all over the world were watching!!!!!!!!!!

U are righthowever understand not just indians lots of people get into realty shows and the participants whether its singing, or winning money we get involved. It is sad that sa re turned into a realty show or game show. In terms of money/revenue remember its a business and the show probably spent alot on externalcosts which it made up with sms that people spent. Anyhow this phase is over however sadily Iam sure people will sms again and those who aredoing it are mainly youngesters are eldrly are the avg person off the street who too has adream and thibks tthru this person its my victory as well. Since I think most of the upper portion and intellects are probably not wasting their time on voting and it is sad that people are spending hard earn money and at the end there is no recognition!

This show was a means to raise Zee TRPs and nothing else..

Courage I absolutely agree with you on all your comments. But I seriously wonder, if there's a way out, and if yes, how -----------when??? These reality shows have slowly crept into our lives n become a part of it. People, in thousands/lakhs/crores are addicted to them, and since the saying goes prevention is better than cure... what prevents the TV channels to broadcast them, so that we do not become addictive fools n loosers.
It would be nice to see the shows given in the hands of talented judges where real talent can be judged and shone in the real light.
