I am here just to let you all know about the craziest thought I had yesterday.
I was just thinking about how weird it would be if Shilpa Anand comes in as a new character (as Dr.kangan apparently here) and this horrible thought crept into my mind.
I thought of putting it down as an OS. So here it goes''.

The air in Sanjeevani is heavy. Everyone looked tensed. The doctors were running here and there few with files in their hands, few to know the state of the position of their most beloved patient. Yes. It's Armaan Mallik - The charming doctor of the hospital who was now himself in ICU. It's just the fate which bought him to such a state.
Atul, one of Armaan's best friends stood by the wall of ICU trying to console himself. He looked at Armaan on the bed, with innumerable machines attached to his body to keep him alive. His heart twisted with pain.
'Why does it always happen to Armaan?' he thought to himself while a lone tear escaped his eyes. 'Why is that he is always deprived of love? He never enjoyed the parental love which he longed for. But when he found the real love of his life ' his Basket, fate once again played havoc with his life.' Thinking so he stared at Riddhima who was seated in the seat with Sid by her side. She was sobbing while Sid caressing her.
He felt sorry for both of his friends. 'It's not their fault. Poor souls they were forced to part their ways.' he thought to himself. Soon the memories of his wonderful past were alive in his cloudy eyes. Their cute fights, masti off duty, the moments of happiness and pain. 'Where did it go wrong?' he sighed to himself.
"Dr.Atul how is Dr.Armaan?" a voice pulled him back from his thoughts. He glanced at the person. It was Dr.Kangan Sharma, who joined Sanjeevani few weeks ago.
"He is out of danger, Dr.Kangan. But still in coma due to his head injury. Doctors are striving to keep his pulse stable." He spoke very weakly. She understood his pain. She came to know about the bond he shared with Armaan. 'After all they were close buddies for 3 years' She thought to herself, took leave from him and walked to the place where Riddhima sat.
"He will be fine Riddhima" she patted Riddhima's shoulder to reassure herself. Riddhima looked up at her through her tears and tried to smile but her smile never reached her lips. Kangan nodded slightly at Sid indicating him to take care of Riddhima and went away.
Kangan went straight to her cabin and collapsed in her chair. She leaned back in her seat and closed her eyes to find some answers to her questions. She remained strong in front of all of his colleagues but now she can't take it anymore. Tears ran down her cheeks. She had known Armaan only for few weeks, but yet she didn't understand why she was feeling immense pain since the time she got to know about his accident. 'Why is she craving for Armaan?' she asked herself.
Kangan recalled her conversation with Atul few days back.
"He still loves Riddhima. He can never wipe her away from his heart. She is his life. I am worried how he could survive without her" Atul told her when she asked Atul why Armaan appears to be lost in his world.
'He still loves Riddhima' the words kept echoing in her mind. But why is she feeling the pain to accept it. She was jerked out from her thoughts when her pager beeped. She read her page and rushed towards the ICU wiping her tears and her heart relaxing a bit due to the happiness those few words in the page had given her
"Dr.Armaan out of coma. Might take few minutes to gain his consciousness."
By the time she reached the ICU she noticed all other doctors speaking to Dr.Shashank.
"How is he?" She heard Riddhima asking her dad. 'Does she still love him too' Kangan thought to herself. 'No. She is married' she answered herself and went to join the other doctors.
She looked at Atul. He gave him a weak smile. She returned the smile and looked at Dr.Shashank who was telling something regarding Armaan's condition.
"Armaan is out of coma. But sorry to say he has lost few years of his memory. He still thinks he is still an intern who has joined Sanjeevani few months back." His words came as a shock to all of them. He continued "Riddhima, he is murmuring your name. If you don't mind. Please go and meet him once." He said to Riddhima uncomfortably.
Riddhima wiped the tears off her cheeks and was about to enter the ICU when Kangan stopped her. "Wait." She said holding one hand of Riddhima's in hers. "You cannot meet him" she said to Riddhima still thinking about something deeply.
Riddhima was startled listening to her voice. She looked at Sid and Atul. They were confused as much as she was. 'Who is she to stop me?' Riddhima thought irritated at Kangan. She ignored Kangan and took a step forward when Kangan stopped her saying "No. It's not you who should go in. I should go in to meet him now."
Riddhima was more than shocked at her words. "What do you mean?" She glared at Kangan.
"Yes. I should go in." Kangan spoke confidently now.
"But Armaan wants to meet Riddhima" Atul supported Riddhima.
"Yes. That's what I am saying. Remember Dr.Shashank said that Armaan lost his memory of past two years. So if he back to his internship beginning days. Then I was his Riddhima then. So I should meet him" said Kangan trying to convince them. She also understood the reason why she felt pulled towards Armaan everytime. 'Because, I was his Riddhima once' she thught to helself.
But everyone were beyond shocked at her words to respond to her. Leaving them stunned, Kangan took a step forward to go into ICU.
But Riddhima stopped her "No. I will go to him. You were his Riddhima then, but now I am Riddhima. You are Dr.Kangan, remember?" she said rather sarcastically pointing at the name plate sticked to Kangan's lab coat.
"Yes. I am Kangan now. But I was also Riddhima then. Now Armaan only remembers my face as his Riddhima. Not yours. So I should go." Kangan spit the words at Riddhima and turned towards the ICU. Riddhima grabbed her hand to stop her and yelled "Don't you dare to step inside. I am Riddhima now and I am supposed to go inside." pushing Kangan to a side.
Riddhima headed towards the ICU, but within no time Kangan quickly regained her balance and rushed towards ICU before Riddhima can step inside. Riddhima-present and Riddhima-past fought at the ICU door on who should go and meet Armaan as his Riddhima.
Atul stood at the place where he was standing trying to digest what he was watching. He scratched his head while thinking 'Now who is Armaan's Riddhima?' and so were others.

I pray whole heartedly that such a situation would never come in the show.
