Please reply. i have always wondered what other people think on this matter.

i personally think its Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005. I think the quality of singing is far better. The final episode rocked, however it was quite sad. only one winner got everything. and i personally liked vinit.

please vote.

VINIT ROCKS.

If you had this question the last few years I would have said SRGMP.
But my opinion has changed this year. I think this public voting format has really worsened SRGMP. OFcourse talent wise SRGMP definitely had load of talent.
But the format with the mentors, gharanas, mentometer etc, was very poor.
In fact, I cannot believe I am saying this, but Ithought the Indian Idol format this year was much better. Some rounds where in there was not much music, piano round etc really showed the contestants' true singing voice and capabilities. Also the judges comments was unbiased and frank with no strings attached to any contestant. They talked about that day's performance and it was very helpful. Especially Sonu NIgam was excellent. OF course people think he was biased, but biased towards good singers, and thats what public need to know to be able toidentify a good singer. The clear disappointment when good singers like Amey, or Karunya or Meenal were in bottom three was evident with the judges. That objectivity was not there in SRGMP/
