I cannot even understand what's going on in DMG right now. It's just so NOT DMG. This show used to be a fun, comedy, romantic youth show. Now it's just some sad rhona dhona saas-bahu serial all over again. I ask why?
I understand & feel for Sid and Armaans situation. OK i accept that Sid loves Riddhima . But Armaan's life is Riddhima. So main focus & problem here is Riddhima. But what happened to her character? I mean wooowww what they are showing right now is NOT Riddhima.
She used to be this sweet, caring, fun, bubbly girl who had self-respect, an own identity and stood up for herself and for what is right. Her life was, is and would always be Armaan. She sacrifised her own life for his sake on the accident day!
Those who say Riddhima loves Sid, from an objective point of view i must say you are wrong dearest! Riddhima wanted to die rather than to marry Sid. But then he saved her & everyone else came. So she was forced to marry him. Sid was her majboori. So they got married, and as she is a nice traditional girl, she accepted her current life, marriage and Sid. She told herself she would fulfill her duties & slowly she forced herself into liking Sid. That's it! From the beginning, Sid was her majboori. Now she likes him. There's a HUGE difference between liking & loving.
We saw during many occassions that Ridhimma more or less confessed to Sid that she still loves Armaan. She specifically said to Armaan I wish you had come a few days earlier. She said her love for Armaan was real but she has to accept her reality that she is married to someone else. Again, majboori !
Now suddenly from nowhere Riddhima "loves" Sid? She told Sid that he taught her the meaning of love? Now suddenly she has forgotten all about Armaan & is not affected by him what so ever?
The producers & creatives can't do this. They have changed the entire essence of Riddhima. This is not even 100000000000000000 miles near the real Riddhima.
Armaan's life is Riddhima. Riddhima's life love was & is Armaan. BUT she is married to Sid. That's reality. She can say I accept you Sid since you are my husband & slowly I came to like you. But she cannot say and do the things she is doing right now. That's just wrong and the real essence of this show and of Riddhimas character is ruined.
So SR fans, you all can say Sid loves Riddhima, but do not say she loves him back since it is not true.
And AR fans, you have my sympathy & i understand your frustration, especially of how Riddhima is acting now.
