Hi guys,
I have just started watching Pratigya, because mum watches it and am hooked on the serial. In fact, I have spent the last couple of days catching up.
Usually, I am not a great fan of Indian soaps as it is the same old drivel but Pratigya is different.
The storyline is engaging and the characters are believable, especially Krishna.
He is a guy who is full of contradictions, a product of the violent and regressive environment where he was nurtured. In his family, women are seen as possessions to be owned, used and abused by the menfolk, which is why he attempts to rape his wife and continually manhandles her. Yet underneath all that anger and bravodo lies a person with a good heart, who is able to demonstrate passion and love for Pratigya, albeit incorrectly. Despite the educational and moral vaccum, in his life he attempts to respect women including Kesar, Aarushi and his mother in law.
Can't wait to see how he develops with the right love and guidance, which only Pratigya will be able to provide,
