Dia Mirza's 'bare necessities'...
Mumbai: Actor Dia Mirza begins by saying that her favourite movie is Jungle Book which is based on stories written by Rudyard Kipling. She says, "Quite simply, because it was one of the first films I ever saw and it was based upon one of the first stories that was ever read out to me!"

Talking about her favourite scene in the movie, she says, "The scenes between Mowgli and Baghera were the cutest."

The next movie which is very dear to Dia is the famous musical The Sound of Music. She says, "I was spellbound by the songs, the setting and the essence of a family that is beautifully represented through the film." She also adds, "One of my favourite scenes from the film is the wedding scene as it is portrayed so beautifully."

Forrest Gump directed by Robert Zemeckis is also something she enjoyed. She says, "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know which one you'll pick. The subtext of the film has timeless relevance and impacts all our lives even today." She further mentions, "Choosing one scene over another will not be fair for this movie as every scene in this movie teaches you something new."

Among Hindi movies Dia likes Nasir Hussain's directed Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. She adds, "It is the ultimate love story."
