For some viewers, his constant attraction towards Riddhima will be somewhat irritating, " *deep sighs* get over her Armaan"...
For others, they will understand the pain he goes through, he's only thinking about her right, what's the harm in that? It's not as if he's making his own move on her. No siree, for Armaan, his motive still remains the same, his intention-to unite Siddhant and Riddhima Modi, his wife.
Armaan reminds himself of that whilst he reminses of his own interpretation of Riddhima and Sid's relationship. You looked beautiful when you were with him....
And then the clowns penetrate his thoughts and he composes himself. At this point time, I for one fail to understand, something about a CD or was it a "seeri" i.e. ladder and a "shower"? Anyways, according to the boys it seems as if their plan is ready for it's execution.
Time to call MTV Bakra Number 1: Riddhima Modi.
A lot of drama and wailing later, a very ooooverly dramatic Jiggy is able to persuade Riddhima to come over and help him manage an apparent "unconscious" JP as a result of falling off the bed. Stricty don't try this at home. Then again, anyone who has had a similar ordeal please let me know...
Bechari Su, akele akele kahan ja rahe ho, humein saath lelo jaahan ja rahe ho-she practically sings to Yuvi who is obviously uninterested. The badboy Yuvraj whom everyone was worried would turn back to his old ways after Naina left him were incredibly mistaken. It seems he wears a shell of a different kind...workaholic much? He brushes Su's suggestions of a friendly coffee/diner together by stating he doesn't want to go anywhere and that he has alot of work to do. She stands there anxious and concerned over his behaviour...which is noticed by Sid.
We're back with Armaan and the JP-Jiggy/Laurel and Hardy trio.
Time to call MTV Bakra Nymber 2: (Any guesses) Yessirrr, Siddhanth Modi.
Sid is seen dragging an unwiling Yuvi. Where are we going? He asks. "Guy's night party at mine" replies Sid. Note, at least there is something he seems to be learning from Armaan, the excuse sounds like more of a "been there done that" one though 😆 And yes, Sid is clearly lighting up. I could almost fit one of his old cartoon T-shirts back on him. Hmm personal favourites are either the bright pink one, or the blue smurf one :) Anyways, I also noticed that a bit of KaranW shone through at this point with his "aiiii chal naaa" anyone remember the art crafts SBS segment???
Perfect timing phone call from Jig-ster. Oh dear a very melodramatic Jig-ster. Same story, please come JP fell off the bed and fainted. You'd think rather than me coming over, I could just pass some advice over the phone, something like oh I dunno....chuck some cold water on his face?! Ha, such jokers. Common sense and DMG ka to door tak koi vaasta nahi...especially in this new phase of a "lighter" storyline we can only expect nonsense of extreme sorts. But I'm not complaining, this is better than watching rona dhona tears and he said-she said accusations any day! 😃
Haha! I loved Armaan's revelation, "acha hua ke yeh nahi bola tu margaya, pata nahi kya karta!" Agreed. Karan Paranjape, hats off, an actor who acts to act badly. 👏😕Golmaal golmaal everything's gonna be golmaal.
Realistically, if such a word is allowed to be used in a DMG post. Senior doctor Armaan, Intern JP and nurse Jiggy are at home. Senior doctor Riddhima also goes home. Interns Sid and Yuvi also go home. Sanjeevani mein kaam kaun karega tumhara mama?? 😛
OK plan of action. Not before Armaan says, "agar itni mehnaat maine apne pyar ke liye ki hoti aaj to"....technially Armaan did put the effort in. But one little mistake changes everything....
JP sits idle and happily munching on cookies, the doorbell rings and chaos. JP Jiggy are completely unprepared, calling Riddhima to the house was easy enough, but where to go from there no one had considered.
He lies on the sofa and Riddhima enters quite rightly pointing out that if he fell off the bed then why is he in the lounge. Jiggy is perplexed, no Armaan to help him what does he tell her? Ah a series of unfortunate events...he tells her, not the bedroom, you misheard, I actually said bathroom. Idiot. Senior doctor se jhoot bologe, aur wo bhi miss Ickyface se, to pachtaoge Jiggy. Note, the fact that JP starts snoring at this point does not help his argument. Riddhima is completely confused yet whilst the director sits comfortably in his chair, she knows she will have to bite the bullet and allow herself to be rid of all understanding and literally "go with the flow".
Change scene-Sid smoothly drives to a halt outside the house with Yuvi. He tells Yuvi to go in and check on JP whilst he parks the car. There on the inside, JP without thought responds with "lagta hai Sid aagaya" upon hearing the doorbell. *hits herself on the forehead* Oh, the stupidity...but I must say upon Riddhima's confrontation he answered quite well with the whole JP would be embarassed if you checked him so I informed a male doctor for backup. Taaliyan >>👏
Whilst Riddhima goes to fetch JP some water...(reeeewind, I'm sure I suggested it in the above somwhere) Yuvi enters and the lights go out.
Haha, ahhh the twist. So Sid is parking his car outside. Fact. Everyone in the house thinks that Yuvi is Sid. Fact. Yuvi is completely unaware fact. Yuvi is obviously not Sid. Fact.
So when Yuvi goes into the kitchen to help Riddhima out...bechara he's so confused what Riddhima is talking about with all the, if you didn't want to do all those things, (i.e. the pink shirt and the cappucino) then why did you do it. Bhalai ka to koi zamana nahi raaha...I came to help you cause you needed it, why are you questioning me. Ulta chor kotwal ko daante. 😆
Armaan spectates and is happy with the "progress" but the opportunity to celebrate his own self victory of mission garbar is cut short when Sid taps him on the shoulder. What follows is a chorus of "Tum?"s and " Yahan?"s etc etc. Upon the realisation Armaan's frustration shows how much he actually wants Riddhima to forgive Sid or generally accept him. To blame God is just silly, talk to your director and production team, that would be the better option 😉 I love SidMaan's screen presence, honestly, I find it more interesting that when Riddhima's there. That is not a bad thing, come join the dark side guys! They're funny together, so similar yet so opposite. And there is is again, Armaan's "ai chal na" to Sid. I think they probably made a bet before shooting for the episode, how many times we can incorporate it into our dialogues.
Sid now fully updated about the plan, courtesy of Dr. Armaan, the men try and fix the "Yuvi" problem. 😆 I am cracking up, the transition of switching Sid and Yuvi is the funniest thing ever! Armaan even goes to effort of putting some atta on Sid's forehead and face to make it more believeable! The best part? Riddhima did not even notice a change.
I love the Sid-Ridhima backing track, it's so soothing and relaxing. I sound so sad but honestly in all the indian serials I have ever watched this is one of the best. Another thing I credit DMG for is its amazing audio compositions.
Ok so a quick update for Yuvi, courtesy of Dr. Armaan Malik. Back to Sid-Riddhima. I read a view by a forum member that this new track didn't do justice to Sid's character and I completely agree. Just spit it out, I did all the things I did not want to do because I love you Riddhima. Thing is, don't expect to see a confession any time soon because another specialty of DMG is to stretch the storyline unnecessarily like chewing gum. Sid has to be shown as an oblivious dumb fool because otherwise, there for once would be a happy ending in DMG, and we can't have that now can we? Armaan of course "must" intervene. Aw ok, I'm being harsh, he's not so dumb, that " we should go outside cause I can't see your face properly" was to die for, and it compensates for his prior silence. 😳 Riddhima seems to agree, evident by the cute smile on her face.
How to create romance? Well according to love guru Armaan Malik, it seems he implies the first step is to "set the mood" appropriately. This means, a window with a spotlight acting as beautiful rays of moonlight. The Modi couple look outside and then at one another and the sadness is clear upon their faces. So much unspoken between them and this makes Riddhima feel awkward. It was easy for her to question Sid in the darkness yet when his eyes pierce her so, she finds herself completely speechless. No confrontation, no right to ask him for the truth. She is about to walk away when Love guru Armaan signals for there to be rain, but Riddhima ponders "bin badal barsaat". However, plans are only supposedly sucessful when you execute them yourself. Thus the pro Armaan is devastated that Sid continues to sabotage the plan by making the "romance report" into a "weather report".
Riddhima's happy, her playful youthful self exposed with the way in which she plays with the "rain" courtesy of JP and Jiggy and the watering cans. Now feeling alittle more comfortable she asks Sid again, why did you do all that? To which Sid replies, "to impress you"....well atleast he spoke the truth. Full marks, Riddhima, although shy, is satisfied with the response. Confusion over.
Aww, Sid outdoes Riddhima's shyness when he realises they have an audience. Armaan acknowledges the hint and makes a move to leave....only to walk straight into the flower vase.
And off they go to hunt the "chor". Sneaky Riddhima looks quite cute when she tiptoes towards Armaan find, captures with a squeaky "pakadliya pakadliya" and then continues to beat poor Armaan who is now hidden under a dusty blanket. The height difference prevents her to fully cover him and in her efforts she also ends up hitting one of Jiggy's photoframes from the wall. Wah. And then we have Sid-ster protecting his jaan from the clutches of JP and Jiggy who try to beat up the "chor" unknown to the fact it is their chella Armaan.
And the reason why the lights automatically turned off is now clear. So that they could automatically turn back on. Just in time, for the culprit to be revealed infront of Riddhima. Shes not happy. The end.
Personal comment on the precaps?
Well, first and foremost what Riddhima asks Sid is a question everyone wants to know, no matter whose side your on. And I'm glad it has been brought up. Sid given the chance will be able to prove himself. Yet the character has been violated in such a way that makes him seem dependent but you forget, Sid who took his own decision to marry Riddhima is capable of making his own decision of how to confess his love to her. The storyline now requires him to act as a fool, but remember don't hate the player, hate the game.
Secondly, Armaan is speaking from his heart, yet he could be speaking about Sid. I feel its another "KHNK" diary moment where SRK reads from Saif's diary. The difference is that in KHNK Srk made some stuff up but in DMG Sid's real feelings are enclosed in the diary that is still in Armaan's possession. If Armaan speaks from his heart, then I guess it's another tactic used by the production team to create hope in the hearts of many AR fans. For their sake, I hope something comes of this, because I hate to be taken for a ride and would never wish the same upon another, big jhappis to the AR-ians out there. I personally love both Armaan and Sid so each to their own. Jo hoga dekha jayega. Sid's face was heart breaking, for him it's his worst nightmare coming to light before him....(big hug)...what will tomorrow bring?
Shilpa Anand I hear you say....well if this is true, it seems that the CVs are truly helpless in their options. Their decision to bring Armaan back caused friction between the fans and the only way to fix it was supposedly another female lead.
Over and out buddies and pals!
Thanks for reading the drivel, hope I didn't bore you too much, leave comments or press the like button if you feel it's worth it!
STRICTLY NO BASHING OF ANY CHARACTERS/ACTORS/OTHERWISE.
