Great singing by Kavita here!

She starts off the song with some great high pitches in "Lagaahaaaa". Very nicely done there....And then her prolongation of her voice was done at the end of her lines when she says "Laya haaahahaaaaaaai".
Then in the post-main sequence, she sings a little different and goes very low instead of high.

So singing ability wise, this was a full-display from Kavita. She even showed some harkats here and there with her voice. So very nicely done throughout. However, I felt she was lacking some energy in this song. I mean she had energy, but not enough for a dance song. That's just how I felt.

So overall, her singing was flawless, not ony that, she sang very well showing much of her talent. From high to low, and this song was not at all easy to sing, many difficult portions most singers would not be able to do. But yes she was kind of lacking energy....So....Well, normally for this I would give a 9, but since this is the dance round, extra attention to the energy they bring a dance number...

I don't have time to write my full analysis. I'm sorry. This week's been super hectic. But I have listened to each and every song in this round thoroughly. Sorry for any inconvenience. My apologizes to the rest of the judges. I barely have any time to myself. Its either work or class. This week is just one crazy week!

Final rating: 8

On a side note I also really love this song too:

I thought it is the best song in regards to the theme this round. But yeah Kavita ji didn't have a huge role singing wise in the song, nevertheless it fits the theme very well. Oh well.

Kavita ji's voice is so powerful, it entices you to the song. Excellent piece of work!!! The tempo and the pitch of Kavita ji really kept building up, which I thought was lovely. No flaws, I thoroughly enjoyed it, a 10!

Nice, up-beat song..

Really nicely sung by Kavita ji. There is a khanak in Kavita ji's voice here I felt, which I really liked. Expressions are quite good. Pronunciation is good, with occasional discrepancy. There is a good amount of energy in singing, but still I think it required a more powerful and impactful kind of tone. Not an easy song to sing, no doubt. A good sound effort done by Kavita, but keeping the theme of a dance item, I was expecting great energy here, which did not come forward. I will cut a mark on the lack of that strong energy, otherwise, the song is really nice.

So, from me this performance will get a 9 out of 10.

A song of complete desi Indian style..
Kavita Krishnamurty's singing...No flaws at all...A very nice control over beats and sur...Well thats her specialty....
The timing of the harkats...and also at some places she has given a nasal effect...This increased the feel of the song....
The composition has a lot of energy....And i feel that Krishnamurty ji gave justice to the energy..This song has a spiritual feeling...and a feeling of and love as well...So I found everything perfect..Scale, throw, energy...
In my opinion if any of these things would have been raised...It wud hav taken the feeling of love....
And the musical arrangements are xcellent....
a 10 for her singing and the feel...

Yay! Double surprise for me in Kavitaji's thread this round - ANOTHER Anu Malik tune and Aman (Jattitude) has commented!

Even though I love this song, I've never listened to it from the beginning. I always listen in the last couple of minutes, because that's when Uditji's free verse section appears - I can't get enough of his smiling voice in the ad lib portion that begins 'Mohabbat se bhara...' Aah 😍

Kavitaji shows her awesome voice control yet again. And as Aman pointed out, she knows exactly where to place the right harkats to create feel. And this song has the kind of dynamic projection that gets extra credit from me.

Having said all of this, there wasn't too much range required in the pitching. So again we have a performance that almost reaches 9 but doesn't. Will stick to an 8/10. (10/10 for the songs though!)
