Vansh and Ichcha's marriage ceremony from the show Uttaran
This story is so so Bollywood style. Ichcha and Veer love each other. But Tapasya loves Veer. She emotionally blackmails Ichcha and gets Veer to marry her. Then out of nowhere lands Veer's elder brother Vansh and he immediately falls in love with Ichcha and asks her to marry him. Ichcha, who is very nave and gullible, thinks that if she is not married than Veer might divorce Tapasya and go after her. So to make sure that Veer stays married to Tapasya and everyone is happy and for the greater good (of whom we wonder…), she agrees to marry Vansh.

But their marriage isn't exactly smooth flowing. Tapasya just tries to create more and more problems for Ichcha by telling all lies to Vansh. Wonder what exactly will be the outcome of this extremely complicated relationship…

The second sentence is wrong though
And this marriage sequence was not more dramatic than Veer-Ichcha's.......All the Best things are reserved for Veer-Ichcha 😉

there are so many serials where marriage isn't exactly smooth flowing: lagi tujse lagan, bhagyavidhatha, etc... but uttaran is one of a kind where there is total confusion about relations.

kisi ka boyfriend bangaya devar

kisi ki girlfriend bangai bhabhi (yani maa saman)

kisi ki hone wali bhabhi ban gai pathni.

kisi ka jijha ban gaya pathi

ufff ye kya confusion hain
