Ratings:

Shashi - 9 - Top 3 contestant in this competition for me. We all can acknowledge that he's an amazing singer, but what really strikes me is how he performs with humility and has this aura of humbleness that I really can appreciate. Unlike Rakesh, just because he looks kind of dorky he won't go and change his whole appearance the next day for a couple more votes. I appreciate individuality and being true to your own identity. And that confidence is relayed and noticeable through his singing.

Swaroop - 9 - Maybe his best performance. The original song is unbearable compared to Swaroop's version, and I think maybe that's why Pritam went a little wild about him today. Otherwise, he's my favorite contestant this season. He's shown versatility by singing different types of songs, and more importantly he's got a very unique and raspy voice. Like a manlier version of Sukhwinder's. Didn't really like the latter half of his performance last week, but did considerably better this week. Go Swaroop!

Sreeram - 8.5 - From the moment he started to the moment he finished, his singing reaked of an amazing passion that really carried over through his performance. Liked him this week better than last week, and it's also pretty easy to tell he's technically a lot more polished and experienced than the other contestants. Should make it to the top 5.

Shivam - 8 - His best performance so far, but otherwise I don't see all the blush and gush people show this guy. Pretty average to my ears, and wouldn't miss him if he got eliminated.

Rakesh - 7.8 - Woah. Surprise here. I expected a lackluster performance, but he actually came out and ended pretty strong. Sure he needed a makeover, but c'mon.. spikes and all that? Went a little overboard to be a little more 'hip'. Otherwise, good singing this week. (Last week he looked like a buffoon with that plastered smile on his face).

Bhoomi - 7.5 - Really disliked her performance last week, but she was actually pleasant to listen to this time around. Probably my second favorite girl after Arpita.

Yashraj - 7.5 - It's like he's getting worse with every week. It looks like he's become too focused on his performance and stage choreography rather than the singing itself. I'm not a fan of his personality or the things he says, but he's got one of the better voices in this competition. And his singing this week was ONLY carried by his natural voice talent. Otherwise, it didn't look like he had practiced on the song at all. I don't like this guy, but I actually do look forward to hearing his singing because his voice is very enticing.

Noushad - 7 - Again, a pretty good performance but he's stuck to the same type of songs and lacks any versatility. He also needs a vocal coach to help soothe out his lisp.

Arpita - 7 - I don't know, just wasn't feeling it. Probably her worst performance so far. She needs to pick better songs, I started yawning in her performance today.

Meghna - 6.5 - She usually sings well, but this was her weakest performance. This song does NOT suit her voice. The whole time I was thinking about how well Arpita would've done with this song.. because the fact of the matter is that this song needs a more powerful throw and much more emotion than Meghna could provide.

Tia - 6.5 - Finally, a decent performance. But just counting down the days till she's eliminated. Only reason she's still in this competition is because of her looks and the whole innocent girl look that she has.

Manisha - 2 (same as the number of my thumbs down) - Her very first stage performance 2 weeks ago was really good. Ever since then, she's been a huge disappointment. Nothing positive about her performance today. Should've been eliminated last week.

I missed Arpita and Shivam's performance

Naushad- Well a very gud performance, but xpected a lot more from him in dis song. Just as Sunidhi Chauhan said the finishing of lines the sur becomes unstable...But one more thing Naushad has currently one of the most powerful voices.

Sreeram..
Well this song is very tough, and he had a lot of problem wid the scale.
The variations in the sur were off...Sreeram is an amazing singer can do much better. But this was not a very gud performance...But the voice is really nice...

Tia
Now again, i felt she went offbeat so many times. Though better than the previous ones, but still no impact...

Manisha
She was again very disappointing, Won't say much about her. But she's over confident,

Meghna
Well for me this was a really weak performance, cud've sung a lot better. She seems to hesitate.
But she sings really well usually...

Swarup
mmmm....He had s ore throat, but still gave a very gud performance. Esp the rajasthani version. He's soo talented. And has a ground shaking voice. One of the best things in his singing is his understanding of the style of the song, the mood..Then the understanding of "Layam" and Taal...Well the way he's playing wid taal is commendable...

Well I wud ask him to concentrate more on his swinging surs and voice more than him swinging the microphone,. Though some variations in d the song were sooo admirable...

i loved Shashi, Sriram and Shivam's performances...all three were fab👏...Manisha, Tia and Arpita were the weakest imo...and the remaining ones were ok-ok types...nothing extra-ordinary😛

Shivam - Fabulous singing again. Absolutely loved it. Great control of breath. Only problem I can see is with the song selection since many people won't have heard this song. But I had heard this song before and was able to connect. It was very nice of him to walk down towards Sunidhi at the end of song.

Arpita - Blew it completely. Her body language after the song said it all. I want to hear some soft songs from her in the coming rounds. She sounds too loud with these fast-paced songs.

Bhoomi - Was very happy with her song selection. She chose a soft song finally. Looked uncomfortable at few places. Good performance overall but not excellent. Great comments by Sunidhi. Ghisi piti shayari from Anu ji once again.

Tia - Looked very uncomfortable with high-notes. Weak performance again. Although she improved a lot from 1st gala. My advice to her is she should soon start concentrating on singing rather than whitening her teeth.

Sreeram - Wow man. Lived upto the expactations from the 1st gala. I think he sang better than the original singer Javed Ali. Looked very focussed during his singing. I like voices like this. Has a peace in his voice.

Rakesh - Performed the song with so much ease. Lovely expressions. I think the song was little easy to sing. But still an easy song has to be performed. Lot of scope for improvement. Again great comments by Sunidhi. I hope Himesh learns something from Sunidhi.

Yashraj - Found him off-key at few places. Again an OK types performance. Looks over-confident on stage. That 'khraash' element in his voice didn't suit the song.

Swaroop - My God! He was the surprise package. I don't know how he does it. Did made some mistakes in the song but he enjoyed the song fully. One extra mark for his energy. Gave that Rajasthani touch at the end of the song. Watch out people. He is the underdog for me. We already have one idol from Rajasthan in the form of Sandeep Acharya.

Manisha - She is a strong contender to be knocked out of 2nd Gala. That's all I can say. Awful performance. Can't believe what Anu ji said after her performance. I will be surprised if she makes it to the next round.

Shashi - As Mithun Da would say. Kya baat, kya baat, kya baat. Flawless singing. Had everything in his performance. Singing, expressions, feel, energy. Saved the best for the last today.
