OUR LAST APPEAL FAILED !!

This coming Monday the creative's are getting ready to introduce the very controversial very tabooed topic not just in INDIA but anywhere in the world. To not make this a mockery like the rest of the Zee serials have done in the past.. Sunshiners, the majority of the viewers who watch this serial are the loyal viewers and don't go on watching every other show on the Zee and that speaks volumes where the masses are concerned.. You come to our homes with your creativity and drama for the purpose of entertainment and we the viewers get the side effects of it and get glued and hinged with the serial..if the serial is liked we are happy and if not we start writing the posts... and that is the case here..

A RAPE is an extremely touchy and least talked about subject and on top of it human sexuality is another complex issue and hardly well understood. In the past we have witnessed karol-bagh entering in the unknown domains without the thorough research and the facts to back it up. When the team has disappointed us so far in dealing with sensitive issues like the older-woman younger man marriage and an unwed pregnancy in the way it should be actually dealt with, why venture into a more sensitive issue like rape? At the end of it, each issue of social relevance must carry a message. Two story-lines about Simi and Neetu have not reached a conclusion that the third is started.That being the case with the more lighter topics now to venture out with this serious topic brought to the public the caution should be used and is a MUST.

We are well aware of the facts that your industry thrives on the galore of such topics and the issues but like we said this is a serious issue with the after effects and the mental trauma of a rape victim in coping with the insult to her feminity physically and mentally and not to talk about the medical repercussions for such a cult to happen .. So this is a very sensitive issue in terms of the feminine gender and their families.

Karol-Bagh being the master of bringing issues openly we do hope the delicacy is needed and a thorough research would help to bring this issue not only to educate the public of the side effects involving this torturous act but also the awareness too. If the rape scenes are going to be shown please make sure that the consequences are also shown. And those being the shame on the part of the feminine gender , sexually transmitted diseases, the legalities involving filing of a police complaint and trying the person in court. , Social ostracization, potential pregnancy and its effects on the entire family and above all the psychological impacts on its young viewers.It would be better if we could get to see Mili fighting the taunts of society who blames the girl to have invited trouble, the sadistic mentality of the uniformed services, financial constraints to fight the case in court against Nakul who is a public figure with lots of money. And in future avoid a love story for her and according to what has been shown so far, let Mili come out of the trauma with support from family, fight the case and see to it Nakul is punished and finally she puts her focus on her career.

But this is our humble request to bring this issue as to educate the public and not to glorify the act and to boost your TRP and the dividends on you banking. Or to show us the rape in the love manifest in its entirety to glorify this vicious act.

Well said SaNiCo. No doubt the Sunshiners will rain on our parade so to speak. I agree if they are going to show a rape victim why not show the mental and physical consequence of it as well. Please, don't follow the formula of having the victim marry or fall in love with the victimizer. No Stockholm syndrome please. Rape is a very delicate issue anywhere and this is a chance to educate the public. So, please don't mess it up.

I AGREE WITH THIS ARTICLE 110% AND THIS IS THE TIME TO NOT FALL IN THE OTHER ZEE TRAPS AND WRITE AND SHOW US THE RIDICULOUS STORY OF NAKUL/MILLEE AND THE ABHI MILLI EITHER
RISE ABOVE THESE OTHER 'E' DRAMAS AND SHOW US THE SOLID AND REALISTIC CREATIVITY..

SaNI this is just too horrfic for any woman to go thru. We women feel very very strong till such sicko and pschos like Nakul and RB remind us how weak and vulnerable we are. and what the victims of such horrible crimes and their family have to live thru. while the likes of RB and Nakul roam free yet to hurt another victim like mili.

Such person should be either shot to death or stoned to death in public place.

I hope after the horror show, Mili gets justice and nakul gets punishment.

But in most likely case Mili and abhi will hide all these.

I hope they don;t show mili pregnent to increase the burden on already hurting family..

Right now I am so scared. Don;t know what to think..

Sunshiners please show mili reporting the crime and sethis facing society with head high as mili acted real stupid but she did not deseved to be raped.

and now that she has become a victim of horrible crime committed by so called high class society man he must be brought in to court and judgement should be given either a life entence or hang him for 3 counts of rape, sexual assult and plotting to kill 3 innocent ppl/

I hope you don;t show that it is ok to do sexual assult and then roam scott free to hurt more innocent women and the only way to punish a woman is to rob her virginity and violate her .

This is just too sick,

Then after rape do not make mockery of rape by showing a rape victim forming a forbidable relation with her jiju. That will be even sicker than the rape itself.

Either change vishal to fight back with his parents like Abhi and Omi and make him accept mili the way it is or bring new man for mili who can accept mili as it is just like Omi has accepted Neetu.

But stop showing mili having any other feeling than a feeling of sali jiju or a good friend like brother sister relation.

Mili is attractive and good person I am sure lots of eligible bachlors will be happy to accept her the way she is and she does not have to think about breaking her sister's home.

We the viewers totally condemn such track.

Do not show any such feelings of mili towards abhi. and as for abhi to mili don't even go there. Abhi should consider mili as simi's younger sister and he should be her older jiju like may be older brother or father figure even though they are same age.

I have my aunt almost my age. But I still call her aunt and have same feeling as my aunt and respect her as my aunt.

We the Indians value our relationships and if you are showing and calling Matarani every 50 episodes do not show such relationships in your show.

Let me point out something - According to the TB article, Mili will be sexually assaulted. They did not specify it was a rape. This track is stupid and immature. No offense to CVs. We are tired of sexual stories. Please don't let another storyline be ruined.

Well Sanico,

Reading the TB article regarding sexual assault and an earlier published DTH article...the probable storyline is Abhi reaching Mili after the untoward incident happens, Abhi feels guilty he did not respond to her help on time and Abhiand Mili decide to keep the incident a secret from the family members.

There are lot of blanks to be filled in for the viewers. Well my queries are:

1.If the incident will be kept secret from the family, why would Mili's roka be cancelled

2.Then if the family comes to know, there is no question of Abhi and Mili sharing a secret which will raise many brows in the family if that blessed sister of Abhi gets back home.

3.Mili we know till now is a fighter who stands up for the right cause and voices her opinion though most of the time she is not given a damn since she is the youngest at home.

4. Abhi we were introduced to was the one who was coaxing Simi to at least talk to her parents regarding the attempt to rape by Bhalla and had also asked her if she would still be marrying the same person when he had dropped her back home.

5.Abhi who was introduced to us later is one who walks the streets of Delhi when he comes to know that Bhalla had propositioned his wife. So here again we donot expect Abhi to keep quiet when he learns the fact that Nakul has sexually assaulted her.

6.And by keeping the incident quiet, it is not going to help in any way the truth that Mili eventually overheard. If she has to save her sister neetu and Omi she has to explaing how she got to learn the truth and at the expense of what.

7.What here was the writer's intention in bringing up the issue of the electricity bill not being paid as yet.

8. Do you think that the topsy turvy house with Mili's belongings will not ring a bell in "jhalli" Neetu?

9.Abhi had called the police control room to inform that the car which broke traffic rule is located at the spot where he was taking pictures. Just for trafic violation incident, he felt its his responsibility to call police. So when he realised Mili might be in trouble at Nakuls place why did he not call for help or even inform people at home about Mili being in danger.Did he really think he would handle single-handedly. Dumb move.So here again, it is not our old Abhi.

10.The Abhi and Mili whom we got introduced to....That Mili will fight out the incident with support in the form of a friend in Abhi and move on with her career by not getting stuck in this mudsling called 12/24 KB

Well too many queries.

And regarding the future story involving the trauma of a rape victim, I hope we dont get to watch high-funda drama of manjuji and company begging nakul to marry Mili to keep the family honor since they are capable of it. Or will we get to see Vishal becoming insane after hearing the shattering reality of what happened to his junglee billie.

Or finally as the DTH suggested, do all women have to compulsorily fall in love with the first available male who gives her comfort in times of need. Well it happened with Simi. Mili if raped will be enduring more trauma than Simi who survived the attempt to rape. So why deny Mili the same space.

Is this what you are thinking? Is all the statements from Mili about being intersted in her "padhayi" and not in "kadai" all loose talk. Will she also get entangled in the not so easy love saga.?

Cvs or the writers ( i dont know if we can call u one ............ coz u are horrible ) first of all we were litreally pleading not to show the milli rape , she is smart and an educated girl so we wanted her to have a career, what was the use for you to indroduce milis love interest so soon....... thats one thing i couldnt understan when first of all there are so many problems un solved.

ok finally u introduced milis love interest , so then suddenly why show a rape for mili, there are other ways nakul could take revenge, do you wnat ideas i could give you free of cost which could have increased your trps and not spoil a girls life.

Very well written, I think creatives want to send a message that middle class families are suffering a lot and no body cares for that, people are ready to make tamasha but no body will help u in real need and showing about their financial conditions, strugguling, difficulties in marriage when children do make mistakes or during bad incidents, rich girls have hard time to settle in middle class family, and so on.......................
