Start of episode
Chandini is sitting on the bed with a shlok book in front of her and a tensed looking Beeji is sitting opposite her. Chandini reads out the meaning of 2 shloks and asks Beeji to explain the meaning to her, to which Beeji does. Then Chandini reads out another shlok ( which translates that a person should always tell the truth and never hurt the other person's feelings ) and asks for the meaning. Beeji defensively asks her why she is asking the meanings of these shloks because she knows them and their meanings byheart since her childhood. Chandini tells her that she is trying to remember who taught her those shloks and again asks Beeji to tell her the meaning today. Beeji gets up from the bed and faces away from Chandini. She has tears in her eyes as she hesitantly and haltingly says, this shlok means that 'hamesha...... sach.......bolna aur doosron ko dard.......... Chandini gets up too and comes upto her and completes the meaning. She tells Beeji that why she is hesitating to tell her the meaning. This means she has told jhooth to her. Beeji turns around and exclaims, 'puttar! Chandini says, 'yes Beeji! You have told lies to me. That Beeji who always told the truth and taught me the same, why are her own feet not stable at this point. Beeji stares at her angrily and slaps her hard! Chandini is stunned! Beeji who is also stunned at what she just did just turns her face away.
Beeji is standing with tears in her eyes. Chandini comes upto her and tells her that you can hit me 10 times more, but today I will find out the truth from you. Beeji asks her that it is all a figment of her overactive imagination. Chandini tells her in that case, why did you tell you were in the chawl when you were not, why you told me that Manisha is working in Majestic Airlines when she is not and then she holding up the packet of drugs which she had found yesterday asks that what are these drugs doing in your purse? Beeji turns around shocked, but still doesn't say anything. Chandini pleads with her to tell her the truth otherwise she will lose confidence in her own capabilities. She says that the number you called yesterday and Mini didi's number are the same, so there is something which you are holding secret from me. She tells that she has overcome all obstacles in life on the basis of Beeji's morals and teachings. She tells Beeji that I am your granddaughter and your same blood flows in me. If you continue to remain silent for the rest of the day, then you will lose your Chandini forever. The same Chandini who lived her whole life on righteous path will lose herself and her identity in this mad world. Putting Beeji's hand on her head, she says that aapko sach batana hi padega, meri kasam!
Meanwhile Manisha is feeling panicky and frightened as a result of not taking drugs. She begs and pleads with Sheeba to give her drugs as she is getting totally scared. Sheeba holding a glass of milk tries to make her understand that it is only the withdrawel symptoms and that she should be strong. She reminds Manisha that she had promised Beeji that she will fight the drugs and she shouldn't be weak now. She tells Manisha that when she didn't take the drugs yesterday, then Beeji was watching her and she was so proud of her for her courage. But Manisha refuses to listen and in her anger knocks the glass of milk out from Sheeba's hands and falls on the bed crying. The glass drops and shatters. Sheeba gets furious at Manisha. She tells her, you want to get high on drugs. Fine. I will go and tell Beeji and Chandini that you are weak and cannot give up drugs at all. She throws a packet onto the bed and an eager Manisha picks it up. But then she remembers Chandini telling Laveena's parents how she is sure that her Mini didi will never touch drugs, much less take them cuz she is a pari and is perfect. In frustration, she throws the packet on the floor and asks Sheeba if she can have a glass of milk. Sheeba is crying tears of happiness and she says that she will go and bring it immediately. Manisha then tells Sheeba that Chandini will never come to know right? And Sheeba says no.
Back in the chawl, Beeji is totally in a dilemma as to what she will do. She tells Chandini slowly that what she will do when she comes to find out the truth as it can be very hard to bear. She says that she has put a stone on her heart and learnt to accept it, but Chandini will not. Chandini is looking stunned at her, but pleads with her to tell her the truth. She asks that where is Manisha and whether she is in some sort of trouble. Amy also comes upto the door and is listening to the conversation. Beeji turns away and then says, puttar our Manisha is totally into nasha and has become a drug addict! These words reverberate in Chandini's ears as she is left shocked.
Chandini is sitting on the bed remembering the good times with Manisha and her swinging and crying as she remembers Beeji's words. Beeji comes upto her and asks her to stop crying as she has been doing it all day and that it is time for her to get ready to go to work. Chandini asks her that there is no reason left for her to work as they had come to Mumbai and she had got a job in IC just to find Manisha. And now it seems like everything has got over and all is lost forever. Beeji comes upto her and tells her that she shouldn't say such things as the doctor has assured them that Manisha will be allright again and that Manisha is herself trying. She says that she knows that if they provide all the support and love to Manisha, then she will again be the same girl as how she was in Jalandhar.
Chandini tells Beeji that she wants to meet Manisha and asks her to take her also this evening to meet her. Beeji tells her no as Manisha will not be able to face Chandini in her state and she will be very ashamed. She pleads with Chandini to wait and be patient for some more time, but Chandini stubbornly says that she wants to call Manisha.
A smiling Sheeba hands the phone to Manisha and tells her it is a call from Chandini. Manisha is worried as to why Chandini would call on this number and fears that she knows everything. Sheeba tells her that is not the case. Manisha scared tells her that what should I talk to her and Sheeba says that it is your behan and how can I tell you what to talk to her! Manisha picks up the phone and says hello. Chandini says to her excitedly, Mini didi, Beeji has told me everything. Manisha is left shocked. Chandini tells her that she is longing to see Manisha and she will come and meet her tonight. She scolds her for staying in her friend's house when Beeji and Chandini are there to take full care of her. Beeji and Amy who are listening to the conversation have tears in their eyes with happiness. Chandini tells Manisha that she should pack her luggage as she will take chutti from office and will come to pick her up that night. She says that let anybody say anything, you and I will sit the whole night and do gup shup. Manisha is crying on the phone and Chandini pleads with her to agree and finally Manisha says yes.
Back in IC, Adi refuses to give holiday to Chandini as she takes holiday everyother day and if he lets her go, who will do all the work? Chandini is very frustrated.
Chandini is taking calls when the same caller ( to whom she had suggested to fly by Majestic airlines as her sister works there ) calls her and tells her that he has decided to fly by Majestic as she had recommended that flight, but tells Chandini that he hasn't received a confirmation at all. Chandini with tears in her eyes tells him that she will fax it soon and wishes him a happy flight. After the call ends, she bursts into tears and goes away from her desk crying. A worried Adi who is observing her comes upto Amy and asks her what is wrong. Amy tells him that she is upset as she was planning to meet her sister tonight. Adi asks her if it is the sister who is an airhostess. Amy hesitates and then says yes. Her sister's flight is stopping over in Mumbai for 2 hours.
Chandini is crying at her desk and tells to herself, that nobody can love you Mini didi like I love you and if I only had leave, I would come and meet you. Adi then comes upto her with a glass of water asking her to drink it. Chandini slowly takes it. Adi tells her if you continue to get big big tears from your eyes, then........... he holds out a handkerchief and Chandini accepts that too. He tells her that if I don't give you leave, then you won't concentrate on your work here and if I give you leave, then........ He says that therefore I have made the decision to give you leave so that you can go and meet your sister. Chandini is thrilled to hear this and says, Aditya tumhara ehsaan mujh par udhar rahega. Adi tells her teasingly that oh this time you didn't call me Mr. Rock and Roll and also tells her not to use such big words like ehsaan. Chandini is going when she turns back happily and says again, mein jaoon? and Adi teasingly replies, mein chod aaoon? Chandini goes away from there happily and Adi is left smiling.
Back in Sheeba's house, Sheeba and Manisha are packing Manisha's luggage into a suitcase and Manisha asks Sheeba if everything will be allright and that she is getting scared. Sheeba assures her that Chandini loves her a lot and everything will be allright. She goes from there and Manisha is left packing. Suddenly a voice asks her sarcastically, oh so you are going home. Manisha turns around to find Laveena standing there with a cigarette in her hand. Manisha is left shocked!
Next episode: Lavina is trying to brainwash Manisha saying that nobody cares for them as they are drug addicts. Even Chandini hates her inside and is only being nice because she pities Manisha. Manisha finally says tht she will never bring any trouble to Chandini. Chandini is sitting in a taxi in the midst of a jampacked street and staring worriedly out of the window.
