why is this track so upsetting?

ok bear with me......i just do not see why is this prostitution track upsetting to some......its not that they showed ragini or sadhna doing something like that.....its a trap that was set by karan to defame the rajwansh............how else could they show this.........

prostitution is present in the society so why is it wrong to show it in a serial.........prostitution will not go away just by keeping it hush hush........its a stigma of the society.........just like drugs and other crimes......why is it ok if they show murder but they cannot show a prostitution scandal.........please someone help me understand😊 i would love to hear your views as why is it so bad to show such track......its a storyline and it will be over as the jail track was over...........maybe we will get some more court room scenes......and some other dimwit lawyers like singhania........who knows😊.

hmm nice post.

I think because people of all ages watch this serial (I'm guessing, I know my two lil sisters watch it) so it's kind of upsetting seeing all this. But we know, this is reality so it's good that CV's are bringing up this issue - but they must tackle it well and should not drag it...

But we see that Bidaai (as far as I can remember) hasn't tackled any of the "hot" topics before so it will take time for viewers to bear with this track..

Sometimes, we do not like to discuss or hear about unpleasant things. These are shows which are meant for entertainment purposes. People like to watch these for entertainment, not for buying tensions. Whether it is murder or prostitution, people will object with regards to the tension. After a hard day's people like to be happy by watching something entertaining and not go to bed with another tension or unpleasantness arising from a show that they love to watch.

coming to your real question on a serious note, "prostitution" is still looked upon as a very bad thing in our society. Selling your body is not acceptable, whatever the reason might be. In our country, people still live with the thought "pran jayee par izzat na jaye"...same is the situation in Bidaai today, the rajvanshs are not able to do anything as they are afraid of their reputation or "izzat"

Well there could be many reasons. But, as mentioned here already, Bidai is seen by people of all ages. It is a family show. I myself dont see any serial/movie where there is vulgarity (even if it is through words) because my son will catch those words. When they grow up they will come to know about these things. But it is not needed to spoil their tender brains.

I will tell u an incident. One day, my son all of a sudden came to me and asked the meaning of prostitution. It seems one of his classmate's parents were seeing a serial/movie and this word came somewhere in between. The boy was curious and asked his parents to which they didnt reply. He must have checked in dictionary/Internet (dont know where) and discussed with his friends (including my son). My son got the literal meaning of it but couldnt understand the implied meaning. He asked whether it is something similar to slave, for which I had to say yes. If I dont give proper answers then there are many sources where he can check.

It is required to guide children with sex education, no doubt about it. But, this is diff. Though he doesnt watch Bidai, if I am seeing it when Salekh or Ragvir (Or vasIndu 😆) romance is going on, still it is ok because even if he asks I can say they are making love (though I dont watch romance also when he is around).

And regarding this problem, yes it is a big social problem. And it wont reduce if it is hidden or not discussed. At the same time it wont reduce if it is discussed also. Government / Organizations need to take proper steps.

Not only that in any tv show or even in the movie they can have any track or story but it should be interesting too. Why these maker makes tv show for us for the audience if audience don't find interesting..than don't it..Here is it example even in movies..take few movies.the main story is always similar..like boys and girl fall in love or boy teasing gal etc..we have many similar stories but if the direction, storyline everything is good than movie is super hit just because we find it cool interesting. In all tv shows and movies whats the most imp part is the direction and the script if that is bad how movie gonna look good.Isn't it.this is what lacking in Bidaai right now..Also bidaai all track is over this is the anothe reason too we dont find anything interesting..So yeah...looks like bidaai CT idnt handling this track properly..

bt hv nthng 2 say..dis track is so borin dat i'm short of words..d tracks of bidaai is lyk PYRAMID..where one layer or track is more n more tedius than d other..
