pra isn't doing anything coz she CAN'T do anything

for those of you who are saying pratigya isn't being strong, or why isn't she saying anything...you tell me, what would YOU have done, if you were in her place...???
TRUST ME when i say, there were times, when even i was like, "if i was prati, OMG, i would've done this, i would've done that..." but that was BEFORE i watched this show from the very beginning. i can't tell tell you guys how many times i thought to myself: "what's wrong with prati and her family...? had i been in their positions, i would've certainly taken legal actions and/or move away from allahbad. but i would've NEVER married that monster krishna". but like i said, that was BEFORE i watched this show since the very beginning. after actually watching ALL THE PAST episodes, i found out that prati and her family indeed tried to take legal actions, and that they indeed tried to move her away from allahbad. in fact, they even tried to get help ffrom powerful politicians, but EVERYTHING they did, as we all know, were to no avail...and in order to stop her family from suffering and being humiliated any further, prati made the ultimate sacrifice, and married that monster.
honestly, being strong, standing up for your rights, is NOT easy. and this coming from a person who always believed, "ehhh...no man can ever take advantage of me. i know i will be able to stand up for myself!" but guess what, like i said, its not that easy. in order to get the rights you want and deserve, you need to live in a society where other people also share at least some of the similar beliefs as you do; or else, you're NOT gonna get what you want overnight. it took HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS, even THOUSANDS of years for women to reach where they have reached today. and STILL, even to this day, as pratigya proves, women are GREATLY opressed in many parts of our world today.

anyways. back to my point. seriously, IMO, as of now, pratigya has done, as much as a woman CAN do to stop krishna from abusing her. krishna is wayyyyyyyy stronger than her physically, therefore he can easily overpower her that way, so you guys tell me, how's she suppose to stop him when he forces himself on her...??? yes, she MAYBE can escape SOMEtimes, but he LIVES with her, he's her HUSBAND. she can't escape from him all the time, its impossible. so this is why, in this case, krishna and ONLY krishna is at fault for SEXUALLY ASSAULTING her or ATTEMPTING TO RAPE her; because he has committed the ultimate crime, both against the law and humanity, by MISUSING his power as a man, for having greater strength physically, than a woman. he's TAKING ADVANTAGE of the fact that because he's a man, he's stronger physically, naturally. and this is why not only is it a crime, but also a SIN!!!

pratigya has also tried TELLING him, DEMANDING him that he stay away from her, even that she HATES him. to me, that takes an INCREDIBLE amount of courage and strength in character, to stand up to a man, who she KNOWS is incredibly malicious and even DANGEROUS. yet, she had the courage to stand up to him. she even had the courage to stand up to sajjan singh, when he forcibly tried to change her name, during that PSYCHOTIC, ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, UNNECESSARY, name-changing ceremony-thing!!! i mean, seriously, who DOES things like that??? but back to my point: pratigya even had the courage to stand up to SAJJAN SINGH during that! and so many other times too, like when she stopped shakti from beating up kesar any further, or when she saved kesar's baby, and when she even interfered SAJJAN SINGH from beating up his wife, something, which the MEN could never even do; all these incidents, IMO, show INCREDIBLE amount of courage in prati's character. but really, what ELSE can she do, besides TELLING krishna to stop, when he comes near her, and tries to force himself on her...? like i said, krishna can EASILY overpower her. its NOT in any way, prati's fault, nor does it make her a weaker person personality-wise.

as for WHY she stays quiet, almost SEEMING (seeming being the keyword here) unaffected by the abuse after wards...my answer to that is, first, just cause she may SEEM unaffected outwardly, does NOT mean she is unaffected inwardly as well. and secondly, its like what ice-thinker said in one of his posts, "like the condition of a fearless and free goat when it is tied to a butchers bamboo... seeing the other goats being slaughtered systematically ... this ONCE UPON A TIME RESTLESS AND COURAGEOUS GOAT looses its courage and gives up internally ... just wanna sit and take it all ... the inner strength is being suffocated ..." and THAT, i believe, is what has happened with pratigya. just like that goat, after seeing so much abuse being the "norm", and absolutely NO JUSTICE being done anywhere to stop that abuse, pratigya has slowly started to accept that abuse. but just cause she has accepted it, does NOT mean she's unaffected or not hurt by the abuse inwards.

lastly, many of you may think, "well, why doesn't she take any legal actions then...?" believe me, i too once felt this way, but once again, that was BEFORE i watched the show from the very beginning. i mean, the POLICE, the POLITICIANS seem fearful of the thakurs, and follow whatever the thakurs tell them to. so how is pratigya gonna take legal actions against krishna, huh...??? last time they tried to do that, HER FAMILY was the one who was arrested, FALSELY, humiliated and defamed....while KRISHNA sat at the POLICE INSPECTOR'S chair, and only when KRISHNA told the police to release him, for a crime btw, which KRISHNA COMMITTED, the police let her family member go!!!! 😲😲😲 so obviously, the thakurs hold GREAT POWER legally, in their community. so you better believe, taking legal actions, that too for women's rights, is gonna be DAMN HARD, especially when the norm is, "a woman should just learn to accept/take it"!!!!

anyways. i'm not gonna make this thing any longer and end it with this thought: for those of you who are saying pratigya isn't being strong enough, you tell me, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE???

hey guys i am back but i cant chat long i have to unpack. but whaaaaaaaaaaaat the fish is going on. i think i left my brains in the holiday or is what i am reading correct; PRATIGYA HAD NO REACTION, divorce word is floating around, nitin is supposed to come back and not to forget the slap thing. I am maha confused i was only gone for a couple of days yehan kyaaaaa huaaaaaaaa.

athena, i understand what you are saying yaar. i too wonder, why does pratigya even talk to him then...??? but apart from that, i feel for her pain. i understand that its not so easy to stand up for herself amidst all this abuse, and absolutely NOTHING being done to stop it. even in USA and europe, etc. when women are abused by their husbands/boyfriends, the women find it difficult to stop them, trying to stand up for their rights. and krishna here, comes from a very affluent and powerful family, where the norm in the city/society is, "a woman should just learn to take/accept it".

anyways. my post was NOT made with the intention of spreading the idea that, "just accept abuse". HELL NO. i made it because i felt some people were being a little too tough on pratigya and cause i noticed some people were even trying to take krishna's side (obviously not you athena), and provide an excuse for him by saying, "well, why can't pratigya do something then"...😲😲 hence, why i started this thread.

and i agree, i too am frustrated with the CVs for showing such lack of women's rights; what message are the REAL pratigyas, the REAL kesar supposed to get then...? but you know what, i think its only a matter of time and patience. i have a feeling, before we expect it, prati will eventually reach her BOILING point. i mean, as we all know, she will tomorrow DEFY krishna, and tell everyone about the fake pregnancy. not only that, she will even go back to her maayka as per the promo (never mind that it is gonna be her dad who takes her, but still). so, these, IMO, are HUGE steps forward for pratigya 👍🏼😉
