they do that when there is something that the channel doesn't sponser. So Karan's necklace might be some brand that the channel doesn't sponser.

the pendant in his necklace was khanda...its the emblem on nishan sahib which is a sikh holy flag..... i think maybe it was objected by some sikh community members ...but generally ppl use it as pendant...dont know why they made it blurred...

That was exactly going to be my post as well. I was also wondering why it so happened.

I am guessing it's got something to do with religion. I don't think it was about any sponsor issue, because if you see the pic in his FB profile, there's nothing like a brand or something. It's simply a Sikh pendant, maybe the channel thought the community would feel offended if it was used for such a song especially...

These days.. every community gets offended for no reason. Probably just to get some footage, or they get some money for it, or simply the channel pays them to create controversy and get TRP's.

But for such reasons, I never saw any pre-planned steps being taken. First some community gets offended.. and then they apologize, resulting in a great controversy. Coz u never know on what measly issue any community can get offended..u cannot take precautions.

But yes, they do pixelate the part, if there is some brand which is not one of the shows sponsor. Like if the show's sponsor is Coke .. they cannot promote Pepsi in that same show .. so if anyone's wearing anything which has a Pepsi symbol, they'll pixelate it.

Coz showing any brand on any show.. is like promoting that brand.

There was a controversy with Singh is King. The film promos showed Akshay Kumar's character sporting a trimmed beard, which Sikhs found offensive as they believe that a Sikh should not trim his beard.

Probably just to avoid some more troubles, they pixelated his pendant. But then why dint they pixelated his turban? 🤪

I missed tonight's episode. Will watch it 2moro.
