Vadivu sieves flour .. Ila sits across her in the table & reads a newspaper .. All off a sudden Ila starts to laugh like crazy .. Vadivu probes .. Ila teasingly says her ooru team is gonna lose the final match .. And she has to walk behind them .. Further says Vadivu looks like GEM , ginger eaten monkey .. Vadivu replies tht failure is the first step to success & Ila will never know it as she is an illiterate .. Both ladies get into an arguement .. Ila tells her to seek an apology .. Vadivu refuses & adds her ooru team will win the final match & the trophy too .. Both challenge each other .. And finally decide tht the supporter of the losing team must leave Ayya household .. Vadivu tells her to write the same & give her .. Ila says to write it down & is ready to sign the papers .. Vadivu teases her saying , she is a kainattu .. 3rd standard , thinnai school & etc .. Ila does some vetti bandha & says they got her married to Karthi & her studies was paused .. Or else she would be an college goer .. Vadivu makes fun of her , Says she failed 10th grade & so her parents got her married .. Finally Vadivu writes down their challenge in a paper & the duo signs it .. Ila tells the other to pack her bags & vice versa .. Argguement continues , nee thaan , nee thaan 𤢠.. Ila says , JC will win & by mistake swears on the flour .. it gets spilled all over her face & she looks like a vellai pei đł [Waste of 8 mins đĄ] ..
Ganga [after a long time đ] calls home .. Charu picks the call .. kusalam visarichufies .. Tells her dear sister to visit them .. Ganga says she has returned from delhi & assures to viist them soon .. Karpagam & Rathna joins their sweet DIL .. Ganga asks for her parents .. Charu keeps the phone & decides to inform Ganga abt Kula's misdeeds in phone itself .. Meanwhile Subbu comes & is happy to receive Ganga's call .. She sends Charu to bring Ayya & starts chatting with her dear daughter .. Ganga feels bad as she couldn't by her side after tht snake bite incident .. Subbu comforts her .. Ayya talks to G & requests to visit them soon .. G says she'll after getting athai's permission .. Ayya talks to Karpagam & informs her abt Rama-JC wedding .. also seeks her permission to have Ganga with them for couple of days .. Karpagam assures to send G .. Ayya then chides Rathna for not calling him .. Rathna says he was sick .. Ayya feels bad & cheers his friend .. Ayya then informs G abt Rama's marriage .. G is all happy .. Ayya then orders Subbu to make variety food for G .. charu decides to pottu kuduthufy Kula to her dear sis , as soon as she arrives ..
Ila rolls out chappathi's .. Vadivu comes there talking to someone in phone .. Gets happy to know tht Ganga has arrived .. Adds one GEM is roaming around & it's tail needs to be chopped off đđđ ... Ila gets into an arguement with Vadivu .. Tells her to talk directly & asks who is going to chop her tails [unakku tails ellam irukku nu neeye othukkariya đ˛] .. Vadivu says G has returned from delhi .. And both , she her dad are going to get caught soon .. Ila says even 1000 Ganga can do nothing abt them .. Vadivu says G will come to know abt Kula's evil acts & she'll inform Ayya too .. And then her dad Kula will land in jail & she'll land up in streets .. Ila gets angry & hits Vadivu with rolling pin đ˛đ˛ .. Vadivu starts bleeding & she too gives back one to Ila , with a karandi .. Ila too bleeds & both ladies get into a kaikalappu [OMG , this is no more comedy .. adithadi varaikkum poyachu đ¤˘] .. Natchiar comes by tht side , sees her DIL's fight .. pulambifies for being a thirunthatha jenmams .. Comes running towards them with a uruttu kattai đđ .. Ila spots her athai & tells Vadivu to leave her hand .. Also says Natchiar is coming with uruttukattai .. Vadivu doesn't listen to her .. Natchiar comes running [naalaikku dharma adi thaan rendu perukkum đ .. natchiar amma nalla saathu saathi athunga rendaiyum oru 2 months bed la padukka veiyunga đł] ....

Ayya is happily talking to Ganga. Natchiyar, Muthu, Subbu, Rmama & Charu sisters Aajar there. sisters ask how did you do the interview. Ganga says very well. They even asked about Kanjivaram saree to Idli. Immediately Muthu says I make good idlis - so even I can become a collector. Natchiyar says stop Muthu you are too old. Ganga says on top on all these there is a Punjab Singh there in the interview board. Once he knew I am from Tanjore dist he enquired about a person named Ayya who helped others. I felt so emotional and told him I am his daughter. Ayya thinks and asks is he Karan Singh? He was a dist.collector once and I helped him resolve some issues locally. I am glad he remembered me.
Ayya says ok I have to go as there is a Kabadi match and I will go and come bck. rama Charu also go with him. After they left natchiyar try to tell her so many things happened after you left. At the time Ila and Manga come there. Natchiyar gets mad at seeing them. ganga enquires and asks her to stay there. But Natchiyar scolds them and says do you want from me? Ila thinks of the uruttu kattai adi and immediately leaves from there.
Ganga asks Natchiyar Periyamma you were going to tell some thing. Natchiyar says yes ganga. We wanted to tell you some thing. She pours out everything about Kula. madu muttal to Pambu kadithal and Kula wants to kill you all. Ganga gets a shock of the life. Why is mama like this? Is he that cruel? natchiyar says not only him - Karhik was helping him as well. Ganga cries and says why did he do that? Ganga asks natchiyar did you tel this to Ayya? They says no. We are scared what will happen to our family if Ayya knows about that? that's why we didn't tell him. You are th judge. You decide. Ganga says why are you asking me to decide? I can't decide. In this case not only I am involved it is about my husband and my inlaws. She also says I won't agree for Rama J.c Wedding. Muthu immediately cires and says what ever happens I want Rama to be my DIL. You punish my husband but not to Rama & J.C wedding. I will take care of her well. Subbu says don't think any bad about Karthik. He didn't do anything bad by himself. Ganga says since my husband life was threatened I am going to ask my Athai what to do. Natchiyar says Bad people need to get punished. At the same time J.C rama wedding should happen. Ganga says Ok let me go and come back. If Appa asks tell him I went to see athai and she sleaves.

Friday Update
Ayya asks KArthik if he has helped Kula. Both KArthik and Ila have a very guilty and scared expression on their face. Ganga looks hurt and suspicious, NAtchiya and Muthu both look away. Karthik starts to promise that he didn;t do anything but Ila stops him from making a poi satiyam. Ila interrupts ans tells Ayya that her husband is a good guy; he's as innocent as a baby and he hasn;t spoken with Kula in ages... Rama and Charu and Ganga look a bit angry at Ila's excuses. Ayya yells at Ila and tells her to stop answering for her husband. Kartik says she is speaking out of turn because of her paasam and tells his dad to forgive her. Ayya tells his son that his actions seem like he also knew that Kula was the culprit. Ayya then yells at his son for covering up for his maama and says that he suspects that his son was helping Kula with his crimes.
Karthik says "Naana? Satiyama..." and Ila again stops him from completing the promise. Ila tells Ayya that everyone is falsely accusing her dad and he has done only small mistakes. Ayya gets even more angry and asks if attempted murder is a small mistake. Ila gives the excuse that both Ganga and Subbu are still alive so there's no harm done. Ayya raises his hand at Ila in rage and she stammers saying that there is no proof or evidence that her dad is the culprit. Ila says she wants to stop him from making a wrong decision. Ayya gives her a push and she stops talking in fear.
Ayya then goes to Ganga and asks her what she feels should be done to Kula. Ganga says that they have to convince Kula that the Ayakudi family is not his enemy, that Subbu is also like his sister. Ayya as usual agrees with his daughter. Ganga continues by saying that they should make sure Kula doesn't do any further harm by making him change his mind. She says they have to make him change his mind about harming Ayakudi. Ganga tells her dad to question Kula before making any decision.
Ayya orders Karthik to go bring his mama to the panchayattu in front of everyone. He then informs everyone there that hiding someone's wrongdoing is wrong as well and they would all get punished appropriately. Ayya goes inside the house and everyone outside is looking guilty (Ila is sobbing softly) except Ganga, who has a scared/ angry look on her face.
Kula, meanwhile, is talking business when KArthik drives over urgently in a car. KArthik yells to Kula to catch his attention; Kula dismisses everyone else and goes to talk to KArthik alone. KArthik says that Ayya knows the truth and has asked him to bring Kula to the panchayattu. KArthik wonders now what to do and is amazed that his mama is still so calm; Kula is standing and thinking. KArthik says he too thought of something; he tells Kula that they can run away from this town in the car. Kula says that he is not a coward to run away from problems. Kula takes an aruval from some guy working in his plantation; KArthik is afraid about what will happen. Kula says he will see who wins; Kula or Subbu.
Meanwhile, Ayya is walking an thinking. Ila walks over and asks him if he wants anything to drink. Ayya tells her he doesn't want anything and asks her what she wants. She says she wants a varam from him; Ayya says she can ask anything except asking to spare her dad. Ila says that is what she wanted; she pleads that even if Ayya wants to punish her dad, would he please give her dad a very light punishment? Ayya warns her not to interfere and tells her he will give the necessary punishments regardless of the fact Kula is his wife's brother or her dad.
Everybody is gathered at the panchayattu. Ayya's family stands to one side and the crowd on the other side. Ayya arrrives and sits down. Kula and KArthik arrive and stand on the opposite side.
Ayya tells the crowd that Kula is here as the accused.
Ayya then questions Kula; he says that the cow handler and the snake handler have both confessed the truth to him and asks if Kula wants them questioned in frot of the crowd. Kula says no need and readily admits that he was responsible for both murder attempts. Ganga, Subbu, Natchiya and Muthu all look shocked. Karthik looks guilty and Ila starts crying.
Ayya asks Kula why he tried to kill Subbu and Ganga. Kula says bluntly that he dislikes Subbu and her family. That's why.
Ayya asks Kula why he dislikes them. Kula says that Subbu has ruined Natchiya's life (en thangachi vazkaiya pangu poda vantha).
Ayya asks Natchiya if she feels the same way. Natchiya denies that and talks about how great Subbu is. Kula tries to interrupt but NAtchiya continues by saying that Subbu is like her younger sister. She tells her brother not to use her as an excuse to harm Subbu. Nathciya says harming Subbu is like harming her. NAtchiya starts to tell her brother that she is so ashamed of him when Kula yells, "Natchiya!" Natchiya falls silent.
Kula says he doesn't care f the whole world accepts Subbu; he won't. Kula says that it doesn't matter even if his own sister doesn't care for him. He still thinks of her AND ONLY HER as his sister. NAtchiya is his only sister and Ayya's only wife, he declares.
Ayya yells "Kulasekara!"
Kula yells back "Ayya!" Kula asks what his punishment is. Ayya says he could have gone and killed Kula for harming his family but he didn't. Ayya orders Kula to ask for forgiveness from everyone in the Ayakudi family.
Kula refuses. Kula says he accepts that his mistake but he refuses to apologize for them. He tells Ayya to do whatever. Ganga and Subbu look shocked; even Ayya is taken aback.
The other elder asks Kula why he is so stubborn about not accepting Subbu. Kula says that is how he is and he won't change or beg for forgiveness.
Nobody knows how to respond to this. The other elder asks Ayya what to do. Ayya asks the crowd what they feel. Most people either say take him to the police/ court or cast him out of town completely (make him eat by himself, not set foot in the town or meet anyone). Muthu is ashamed and starts to cry; Ila is boiling in anger and sadness. KArthik looks angry and upset too. Even Ganga looks upset as everyone keeps talking all at the same time.
Kula yells at them to shut up and everyone falls silent. Order resumes once again. Kula says now that everyone has spoken, what is the decision. Ayya now asks his family what they feel but says regardless of what any one person feels, Kula will get punished appropriately. Ayya first asks Natchiya.
Natchiya says that Kula has to accept Subbu as his sister in front of everyone or she will disown him publically as her brother. Kula looks at Natchiya in shock, Ayya looks at Kula in shock; Ganga looks up in shock. Kula looks a little upset but then he composes himself, looks away and starts to smile...
