with so many changes happening in II this time, am hoping they do give a chance to the theatre round contestants who showed lot of promise...

else we may have a WC for piano round contestants once we get say top 6...

either way i think for sure we will have a WC round...we just have to wait n watch

I'm pretty sure they'll have a wild card - it's a standard 'twist' in reality shows and this year II5 seems very keen on 'twists'

One possible reason they might have chosen Asit over Geetesh:

Both have auditioned before. And if they were rejected at auditions, they could audition again next season. BUT now Asit can never audition for Indian Idol again, because auditions are closed to participants that have made it passed theater round. On the other hand, Geetesh CAN audition again. Maybe it was a chaal by the judges to make sure Asit can not audition again but Geetesh can? 😕

I think they will bring back Mr Sar-Jhatkaana Asit.

But Geetesh is really good, would have liked to see him. Among the present bunch, there's noone who really captivates your attention. Apart from Manisha, Vishvaas and Sashi.

What a far-fetched idea xobile! must appreciate your thought-process here, seriously.
But, I don't agree with it. Judges are not such people to play petty tricks.

All I want to say to the fans of Geetesh that they can still hope for him to come next year! So, Don't lose hope. Just enjoy the singers we have presently in this show, they are exceptionally talented. And need all your love and support too.
