Voting for the story contest

I was wondering how everyone including Prabha will prefer to rank/rate the stories.

Assign marks to each story out of 10 will be better

I have a suggestion.

Henceforth whoever writes a story create a poll thread to post your story. So that people can rate each story. So the writer will know what the general perception is

Talking about the contest on existing stories. We currently have 26 stories (counting from the story chest thread). Creating 26 poll threads to rate each story out of 10 and then another 27th one to rate the best out of the 26, does not seem practicle.

I would suggest top 3 stories out of the 26 and vote for 1 story you think is the bestest. To encourage people please give feedback to each story.

Can we have a multiple choice poll here? I mean can we choose say 3 options from given options? can we have more than 10 poll options?

it may not be practical to open 13 polls for the contest, can we not have each member assigning marks to each story and PMing it to Prabha?

Oh sorry for confusion. There was talk about conducting poll for existing stories. I thought this was for that.

Thanks....because, I cannot choose a certain story as 1, 2 etc. 😊

so voting is going to be in this way i.e. sending the rating for each story ?? and when will the voting start and end ??

Do we any readers apart from participants and me. There seems almost zero participation. So I was thinking of waiting till Thrusday to start polls.

Me too. I also need time. When do you think we shoukld start the poll. I have read only one story properly yet.
