me too love this show...but it is so sad haardly very few people are watching this lovely show & seeing utter crap

Initially, the show was pretty boring and very condescending, but now, since the intro of Vijayanthi, it's improved dramatically. It's fun seeing her w/ almost unlimited power, and using it to bring the evil Thakuryan's wife almost to her knees. I liked last night, when she challenged her to fetch the water from the well herself if she thought it was so easy.

I did think it sad that Urmila is almost forced to marry a deaf & dumb Dhruv, and put her dreams into the fire. And to get her married to him, her parents are willing to do anything, and pissed @ Kashi for inadvertantly exposing him? In their place, I'd have been pretty grateful. I mean, even if one were to grant that caste is everything, are there no other people of the same caste as Urmila who her parents could get? Or is it the riches of Vijayanthi's family that they want Urmila to be married into, even if it means Urmila's primary task having to make sign language her first language, since Vijayanthi and Kashi ain't going to be @ her side forever - when they grow up, they too will presumably marry and move away

Thankfully, Vijayanthi's dad tonight will offer Rs 50k for Kashi, just as Kashi's dad is all set to return.

Exit question: if there is a leap, are they going to show romances b/w Shauriya and Kashi? I'm assuming that they can't do that w/ Vijayanthi, since she's the nanad of Urmila. Or will they be bringing in other actors and center Kashi around another issue of inter-caste marriage, and make that a central theme?

The show is doing great now. I liked the intro of Bijanti and her family. Loved it, infact. Let the CVs build on that.
