hey ....
I was wondering whether ekta has brought the rights from summit and smeyer..for the indian version of twilight 'fanaa'...as surely she cannot make the show withought having bought the rights...?

I am not sure about rights but one thing is for sure.. in the past bollywood film producers have copied hollywood movies without buying rights and have got away with it too. I doubt rights would be an issue if Ekta can (and probably will) change the story around enough so that she doesn't have any legal issues.

No, She doesn't.

The only people who have rights to the Twilight series are - Stephenie Meyer, Summit Entertainment & Temple Hill Entertainment.

OMG....Indian Version of Twilight.I'm shocked and the name is Fanaa......

I think we should e-mail SM about it.Otherwise Ekta would ruin Twilight.

I think she does. But i read the story plot line and its NOTHING close to Twilight so I am a little confused,.

i heard from some other site that kekta is presenting it as a 'typical romeo juliet love story type with a "twist" hahaha!

and besides kekta has rights over everything lol

when bollywood movies are shamelessly copied scene by scene from hollywood movies,

twilight is nothing in that comparison i guess,

even some Indonesian Tv producer copied twilight and made a serial.

That was hilarious though the guy was hot ! 😳😃😳
