Deepika in no hurry to get married
Bollywood watchers are convinced that Deepika and Ranbir are getting back together, but for now the actress wants to focus firmly on her professional life.
Deepika neatly side-stepped the question at a recent press conference by saying: "What? I can't hear you." The hottie has already indicated her displeasure at being asked about her love life. She alleges that even when she was open about her relationship with Ranbir, the media made outrageous allegations like linking her to married man Farhan Akhtar.
Deepika is clear that she is single-minded about her work. "I have just finished with Lafangey Parindey and starting work on Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. Then I have Break Ke Baad. I have other scripts in hand and will only concentrate on my films now," says Deepika.
As part of her focus on work, Deepika will be going to Cannes Film Festival and is excited about it. "This is the first time I am going to a festival like this. Initially I was a bit hesitant but now I am looking forward to meet great people from all across the globe."
She will be showcasing Bollywood, so what will she be wearing? "The saree is our trademark and everyone across the world loves sarees because it gives you a sensual look. My friend Rohit Bal will be designing for me," says the actress.
This gave us an opening to slip in a personal question. Since women usually wear sarees when they get married, is there a plan in the making? "No way! I am only 24 and have just started my career," said Deepika, "I have enough time to decide whom to get married to and when."
