Wow the contestants in MKMM were paid!!

I just found out that not only were the team captains paid huge sums of money to be part of MKMM, but also the contestants. This means that the contestants and captains know well in advance who would be eliminated etc. because they probably read the entire script and whatever is in their contract.

Is this true?

Well I wouldn't be surprised if the contestants were paid. (Maybe not the chhupa rustams). After all, even these contestants have a fan following and they deserve payment for the TRPs they get for the show through their singing, their fan following and their drama!

And of course they knew all along what was going to happen. The grand finale was totally scripted. Just take Shreya for example, she had already sold tickets for her concert abroad, which meant there was no chance of her being present in the final - all those votes were a waste.

This was the first time I followed a Gajju show. Never again. Waste of time.
