😆 I dont think anything bad will happen to Jyo or the foetus .. This episode is just another time wasting twist. We have seen Sushma recover from bigger mishaps (beaten and pushed by her TB hubby and the next time hit by a car when running away from her classmates), haven't we? This is nothing compared to it.

This twist probably is to make Pankaj (I donno who this loser is visiting) and Kabir collide with each other and probably Kabir will tell Pankaj how much Jyoti still loves and respects Pankaj..thus sacrificing his love for Jyoti and unite another couple. lol . Although we dont want this to happen, but this story is becoming a room full of mahaans lately. Like Vrisha pointed out in another thread , CM would also join the goody goody gang very soon . This will only make way to new serials but wont be a suitable ending for Jyoti.

The desi serial directors should learn a lot from western soaps and how women can choose a partner after divorce or break-up and lead a better life. The sanskaari rishta c*ap doesnt make any sense.. may be creatives are afraid .. what if ppl start throwing stones at them after a suitable ending we all want but the so called "society" wudn't accept ? lololol...

No, I liked today's episode, and Jyoti's fainting and becoming critical is good for a bunch of reasons:

1. I'm hoping that Jyoti loses that fetus, so that one major emotional bond she has w/ Pankaj is destroyed. If that fetus dies, Jyoti could take that as a sign that even the gods don't approve of her rishta w/ Pankaj @ this stage
2. If Jyoti loses the fetus, then that would be a wake-up call to the Sharmas, in addition to what the nurse told them. Recently, the pressure on Jyoti has been high from home, whether it's her work, Kabir, Sushma or anything else. Today, even Dadi turned on the screws on her for concealing Sushma's plans.
3. If the pressure from the Sharmas ain't enough, you now have Kabir pressurizing Jyoti to rehabilitate Brij 😡😡 Poor Jyoti - she has to satisfy conflicting demands of different people - of her own family who agrees w/ her that Brij doesn't belong back, of Kabir who insists that he be given a chance. With Jyoti undergoing this meltdown, at least, this pressure on her will ease. If she loses the fetus, then there will at least be a feeling of guilt w/ both Kabir & the Sharmas that will last a while
4. I never root for Sushma to benefit from Jyoti's suffering, but one bonus gain here will be for Sushma - like Jyoti, she too feels tremendously pressurized and tortured by this demand of Kabir that she re-unite w/ Brij, and her family that she keep the baby. If Jyoti has a miscarriage, then that will force everyone to ease up on her, and accept her decisions that she makes for herself and her baby. If anything, Padma will not fail to point to Jyoti's condition as a pretext to not put Sushma under any pressure re: Brij - she'll come down like a ton of bricks on Kabir. KK might see Sushma's reasoning on the adoption, and come down on her side. (Incidentally, KK always accepts Jyoti's decisions - had Jyoti made this decision instead of Sushma, would he have tried talking her out of it?) Also, if Jyoti loses her fetus, Sushma can also use that as an illustration of why this household is an unsuitable one for her baby as well.
   
5. Padma won't change, but if Jyoti has the miscarriage, that will leave a strong guilt complex in the family and she will be a lot more careful about how she treats Jyoti.
   

Pankaj may be there to see someone else, and may find out about Jyoti being there one way or another. I hope he runs into Brij.

I wish we could smuggle in the writers of sitcoms like Melrose Place or Beverly Hills 90210, where you have girls freely dumping the ass of any guy who wrongs her: that way, you won't have these doormats running amuck. I'm not suggesting that they be vamps and sleep around w/ everybody, although there are those who can argue that once this starts, that'll be inevitable: I'm suggesting that they tolerate little from their hubbies/bfs, and absolutely nothing from in-laws. I mean, Jyoti grovelling b4 Pankaj, CM and Padma was bad enough, but now, she's putting herself thru hell just b'cos Kabir wants her to rehabilitate Brij? Incidentally, I liked Deepu the best today, when he told Jyoti point blank that even if Brij is reformed, he cannot come back to Sushi - this will be his punishment. If Deepu can firmly say this to Jyoti, and we know he can say it to Kabir as well, why can't Jyoti say it to Kabir? She can scold Kabir on so many other things, but this? She too could have told him that what you're saying may be right, but my Sushi doesn't deserve to be dragged down by Brij any more - she deserves a better future, a better hubby, and is on the right path.

i don't understand why jyoti holds 'kabirji' is such high esteem... she knows its only gonna piss her family off!

sometimes she is sooo spineless... like when padma was questioning her.. whats with her meek attitude.. one minute she is jyoti sharma the brave mahaaan woman and the next minute is is quiet, scared, timid

and padma..i can't make out if she is evil or not...lol...its like she changes to suit the storyline or just to add drama which only lasts 1 episode, by the end of which she is nice again

the only person i like in the show now is kabir's friend! lol... 😛

Vrisha, to top all the points you have mentioned...the next episode might also open up to Kabir the fact that his dear Jyoti is pregnant.. which has remained untold to Kabir (I guess)... unless otherwise, it has been mentioned offline to Kabir by his group dancers or Bhagya ...
