Hes not getting intimate with her. The way things happened and she got hurt was the reason he had to pick her up and yes, he loves her so he cant throw his feelings out of the window. Hubby dearest needs to see things in proper perspective and not forget what he himself said and did a few epis back.

Lifting someone in your arm is not intimacy
for me. If you actually want an example for
intimacy then it is the hypothermia scene.
Now do not debate that he was just treating
Riddhima as a doctor. And if you are talking about
intimate feelings then they are unavoidable as we here
are talking about the inseparable AR.

I think Riddhima should not get intimated with Armaan right now b'cause right now she is married to someone else and if she gets intimated she will get a bad character..!!
