I voted other because I think if Deepu does take this job, Poonam would never shut up about how the house is being run on her father's money. At this point, I agree with Padma's suggestion of Deepu-Poonam moving out so that Poonam doesn't have the chance to say that everyone is living off of her father's money (since the salary comes from her family).

That explanation may have sounded credible, but Padma never had a problem when Poonam used to get money from home previously, even on the occasion that she took Rs6k to buy a gift for Pankaj's wedding, or when Poonam paid off the pawnbroker who had lent Jyoti money. In fact, on the latter occasion, they got to hear no end of it from Poonam on how they are too touchy about getting things from her maayka. If Poonam dares tell them now that they're living off her father's income, the least they can tell her is that Deepu is working for it, and would be willing to be paid anything he's worth.

My problem w/ Deepu & Poonam leaving is that it would then be more difficult for Jyoti to leave, or at least stop supporting them w/ her salary. I'd rather that Deepu gets a handsome salary which he can take home, and supports everyone, while Jyoti, and after her exams, Sushma, move out. I doubt that Poonam would dare insult KK, Padma or Dadi even in that situation, since her own marriage could be threatened, and by now, she knows that her parents don't blindly support her decisions, but have several times upbraided her for how she's behaved.

well, i agree with KK. it's deepu's decision after all, it's his life. he shudn't b just running after poonam or his mom. he's a man n shud act like one🤔 he's accepted his FIL's job in today's episode. padma looks angry whereas others too r making gr8 faces especially dadi🤪 padma shud really grow up. now that jyoti has resigned isn't it time 4 deepu 2 do sumthin. otherwise who'll earn now. coz then every1 in the house wud b a jobless. if she doesn't like deepu working in his FIL's company, then why not go out n search 4 a job instead of just staying at home & ordering or blaming jyoti😡

Padma seems so insulted by Deepu's decision... 🤬 what does she think her naalayak beta is laayak to do? lol.. If Poonam's dad wasnt there to offer him a job, his idle mind would focus on how to look down upon his own sisterJyoti.... he better take this job ...

Deepu isnt educated enough to even apply for jobs ...sick guy..naalayak of naalayaks 🤬 I could see how angry Kabir was when Deepu was commenting on Jyoti's resignation...Deepu is all talk, no action...he could have used his efforts to study during college days instead of drinking,gambling etc., he has no rights to comment (good/bad) on Jyoti's job situation... she has every right to do whatever she is doing... If I was there, I would have hit his head with his own hockey stick and asked him to get a life..

He should have taken this offer long long back... doesnt he feel ashamed that he hasnt finished his degree? What sort of pride does he have when it comes to taking his in-law's job offer? Stupid guy... and stupid mother ... they deserve nothing but stale food and left overs from the streets.. then they will realise how to live a practical life... And how come Padma is not ashamed for the reason "Deepu is jobless" but she is ashamed to digest the fact that he is going to work for his in-law... hahaha... what a pity u sick Padma... you hide in your pallu and keep murmuring to yourself.. It would be awesome to see Mahabharata's Dushasana coming to strip her off that saree not to shame her but to let her out of that pallu so she can see the "real world" outside. LOL... B🤬

That's a brilliant point - the Sharma's are more embarrassed about Deepu working for his FIL than him sitting @ home doing nothing.

And hey, he gets to diversify - instead of going around delivering parcels, he can start designing the interior layouts of homes for a change. Although I still wonder - wouldn't this have been more of a Poonam job than one for Deepu? And what happened to that job that a colleague of Mahesh-ji had for him @ a construction company? In fact, that would have been a cool co-incidence - Deepu being the manager of a construction company, and Brij now being on his payroll.

Anyway, good that they are working, while Jyoti is out of a job. Now watch Padma say how she is a burden on the family. I hope Jyoti overhears it, so that she out of disgust walks out a second time.
