Nupur outpacing SRK
The pretty Rati Pandey – the vivacious Nupur, the livewire in STAR One's college romance Miley Jab Hum Tum – is rapidly gaining popularity.
The time is not far when she will be at par with the King Khan – Shah Rukh – on SBO fan clubs, and then soon, she will outdo Bollywood's Baadshah. SRK is now leading among fan clubs in StarBoxOffice.com Fan Clubs with a total of 2095 fans. Rati is fast approaching the same benchmark, with 1913 fans currently, and counting!
Well, the irony of this is that Nupur, as a character is a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan in the show!
As is evident from her fanclub, Rati is much loved for playing the bubbly college girl Nupur. The show itself, being the light-hearted romance that it is, is hugely popular among the youth. Her love story with Mayank (Arjun Bijlani), and how the couple faces all odds in life, including financial difficulties, has obviously touched a chord in the hearts of audiences. Rati has definitely come a long way ahead after her debut on television in the show Shaadi Street.
Her co actors from the show Gunjan (Sanaya Irani), Mayank (Arjun Bijlani) and Samrat (Mohit Sehgal) are not far behind. In quick succession, Gunjan (1879 fans) seems like she could just about overtake Nupur!
