No doubt today's episode was a treat for loyal AR fans. It was a wonderful mix of the real essence of AR love story- nok khonk, ladhai, dupatta, BG music, wind and eye locks.
I will not go into the details as we have many wonderful posts on the episode on the forum.
The things that struck me are..
1. Ridz's genuine smiles, her walk down the memory lane, her love for Armaan in her eyes and her unwillingness to lay her guard down as always.
2. Her feisty and 'basket' self was evident in a number of scenes
3. The confusion little Tamanna has just created....'wo rote rote sirf aapka naam le rahi thi Sid bhaiyya'đĄ
4. Sid an eye witness to Armaan carrying Ridz back to the orphanage
5. Armaan defending Ridz's honor in front of Sid and Ridz giving him a look of gratitude
6. Sid's accident in the precap
Earlier, I was a bit negative after the accident part. It took me back 25 years ago to the days of movie Silsila where the climax ended with an accident and marriage prevailed over true love.
The SBS preview reaffirmed my fear that at this point Ridz is at a point of no return- her fate has been sealed with Sid. It would be very selfish of any woman to elope with her lover when her husband is critical after an accident. We all know how conscientious Ridz is- so she will never abandon Sid at this stage and in fact she would go back to him. ...basically end of AR love story??
Wait, there is a catch here....and that is SID. Till now, Sid has harbored this glimmer of hope that maybe Ridz and he could have a life together but after what he saw in Lonavala, he should have no doubts in his mind that Ridz still belongs to Armaan and vice versa.
Once Sid is well, I am hoping he will finally say and do what he means....genuinely reunite AR because that's where the happiness of all the three characters lies.
So, the next week or so, we will witness a lot more of SR because Ridz will take care of her ailing husband- rightly so.
What will happen in 2 weeks? Maybe once Ridz breaks off with Armaan like we saw on SBS, SId will step in and insist that Ridz and Armaan get together again. At that point I will believe that Sid has finally grown from a boy to a man...and my admiration for his character will be reinstated.
