Shame on SET team management of Indian Idol 5 who never showed Punjabi finalists in either during initial selection process or during 112 & 40 team. Their clips were cut out. If they expect Punjabi's still vote, I don't think that will happen. Sham on them for such discrimination. If they continue this unfairness approach.

Good Luck, viewers see this.😲

See, this is the problem with Indian Idol! It is fueled by regionalism! Instead of looking at the talent in people, people look out for whose from Punjab, whose from UP, whose from Andhra etc... Really, no wonder that the best singers aren't chosen properly. Why this disparity in state pride? It's INDIAN IDOL, if there is this small tiff, what's the matter? It's not like Punjab is being discriminated with, just because Punjab hasn't been given coverage, people go all crazy. Just great!

Sorry, i don't agree... I still think either everyone of them should be given equal chance.

Look in the past...
Parleen Gill was never shown even a glimpse during selection. Initial Coverage is needed to build up fans to vote.

Debu most indian musical reality shows are based on Regionalism...SRGMP, II, VOI all....
Indian shows feeds and promotes regionalism and they get away with it...If people stop wasting their money on voting these type of regionalism would stop....Watch but dont spend money..
Shows are becoming rich on poor janta's expense...

Ummm, so what? he's still Indian, isn't he? Why don't you look at the big picture? Gujrati or Punjabi, we will still be proud of our Indian Idol irrespective of whichever state he/she comes from

ok, let me rephrase... every contestant should be fair treatment regardless of where they are from. They should get equal video coverage as that point fans are build.

😆 Do you really think that every single person can be shown? I'm Bengali, but I have no quarms about all the Bengalis not being shown. They have shown Punjabis also, Sharma, Verma etc..., it's not like that.

Are bhai they dint show nearly 60% of contestants..the other 'Khatooba" girl who is liked by many people here...even her video wasnt shown. It is impossible to cover so many people + Anu in one episode. Anu gets more attention than any contestant😛
