The reason behind the popularity of Pratigya is unexpected turn of events that take place in its story line. As long as director and story writer are able to bring these unexpected turns they can maintain the high TRP of this series. Last week it was the confrontation of Shakti with his wife regarding pregnancy, this week there is going to be completely unexpected turn when Pratigya's sister Arushi will confront Krishna for his violence against Angad Yadav in her name. This would be the first time when someone from the family of Professor would speak loud and clear against Krishna. Get ready for another power packed performance full of action and powerful dialog deliveries.
Female Characters of Serial Pratigya
Pratigya , Mann ki Awaaz serial at present is one of the favourite serials , liked by all. Reasons are obvious, good actor and actresses and perfect direction. Still there is one more hidden reason which attracts viewers towards this serial, especially ladies. The reason is treatment of women characters in the serial. All the women characters are representing different categories of women of Indian society, who are not treated with respect. Some are helpless like Krishna's Elder brother's wife, who are traumatized and treated worse than animals at their home.
Second Category of women are like Krishna's sister Komal, this sort of women really don't know what they are looking for , they don't know what is good and bad for them just because of their illiteracy and backward upbringing .
Third category belongs to those elderly women who are like Krishna's mother, who don't want to understand women rights and follow the age old tradition and want their coming generations to follow it blindly without raising any question as they did. They feel insulted and duped when someone like Pratigya question the authority, the category of those women who are progressive and have reasoning to question the authority , because they are educated.
Most of the time serials are watched by ladies , who feel close to these female characters, who reflects the image , may be their or some close one who also gone through the same circumstances.
Komal in Pratigya Serial
Pratigya Mann Ki Aawaz serial is becoming popular with each new episode. The same is true for its main lead artist Pratigya , played by Pooja Gaur and Krishan, played by Arhaan Bhel.
Even other characters like "Komal", Krishna's younger sister is also getting popular. This character is played by Parvati Anil Sehgal. This character do have negative shades, still it has many positive aspects as well. The best thing that this character has is her wild innocence.
Komal is very beautiful but quite aggressive in nature. The way she speaks in her bindaas style with heavy and bold accent makes her character quite unique. She is completely opposite of her name Komal which means Soft, but she is not at all soft from her heart. She is proud of her rich family lineage and has no respect for other's feelings. She is the youngest sibling in her family and has been excessively pampered. She behaves like tomboy and there are always some ill words on her lips.
Dramatic turns in the serial compel her to marry Pratigya's brother, who is very humble and tolerant. It would be interesting to watch how both come close to each other and how this proximity changes her nature.
Pratigya Star Plus- Story
Pratigya is one of the latest serials which has attracted the viewers' attention. As far as the serial is concerned everything is organized and well directed. All the actors in serial are becoming the favorite of viewers. The male lead Krishna, played by Arhaan Bhel has already become the hot favorite among the girls. The leading lady Pratigya , played by Pooja Gor is admired by all. Other characters are also worth watching. The only aspect that is misleading is the storyline.
The story started with a uneducated boy, who is from an affluent Thakur family, has madly fallen in love with a girl of Kayastha caste from an educated background. Initially it seemed that story is about how two different persons from different background who will come close to each other. But as the serial is moving ahead, it seems that there is lack of real content in the story. There are so many stories attached to it, that it can be lead in any direction at any time. One story which is running parallel to Pratigya is of Krishna's sister Komal , who is married to Pratigya's brother. The other story is of Krishan's elder brother's wife, who is not liked and loved by her husband due to her dark complexion. She is often rebuked and harassed by her husband and in-laws. Even the main story of Pratigya and Krishan , which still has some essence of love and is main reason to watch this serial is also a bit misleading. One of Krishna's friends also loves Pratigya and is waiting to take revenge on Krishna, because Krishna married Pratigya. Going through all the links of the serial the whole story of the serial seems to be quite confusing.
Still we hope that the creative team of this serial will take instant step to curb the unorganised storyline and let the viewers enjoy a good serial with a perfect story line , played by new talented actors and actresses.
